- Atlanta rapper Young Thug, born Jeffery Williams, faces multiple charges under Georgia's RICO Act. Williams, believed to be the leader of the YSL collective, supposedly operated a "criminal street gang" from outside his residence. Williams faces eight charges in a 65-count indictment. These charges include drug possession, possession with intent to distribute, and participating in criminal gang activity as an individual employed by a criminal street gang. Opening statements will take place on November 27.

I’ve watched all 18 videos of the trial , we as the general public cannot allow the biased judge continuously showing favoritism towards the prosecutor constantly helping them with objections and helping her finish her sentences or her perspectives it’s just wrong it’s morally wrong it’s inhumane .. come on man

In all my days of watching trials i have never witnessed a judge guide the state, pull up logs for the state and argue with the defense attorneys for the state. This is definitely not a fair trial and I pray the Almighty God intervene and let true justice prevail. 🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿
The judge is objective for the state over and over, then b4 he oks something and has to double check with his boss, the DA and make sure she’s ok with it…. Diff unfair

Yeah, this judge is sketchy. He is biased.
Never seen a case go off for so much time. Comfort breaks , late to court , just unacceptable. Bias is super strong in this situation I know Steel all over it and filed the proper paperwork on it ! This is so disturbing and I am saddened by it. Steel gets over ruled without getting his entire question out. Make it make sense!!!

I think the jury hears and sees what we do. They would have to be blind not to see how biased the judge is.
He’s not biased he is actually very unbiased professionally speaking sure biased for justice if they are not truly guilty the verdict would be so but who is he to sustain objections that otherwise would make the case vague and less comprehensible for the jury.
He is doing what any good judge should do not to save face for a rappers career but to uphold the law if he is innocent the jury will say so if not i hope the sentencing is fair and rehabilitative

They are all fair objections to be made. Blame the defense attorney for breaking the rules of the court and not the judge and prosecution for calling them out on it. The objections the defense have made have been baseless and purely done because they don't want the damning testimony to be heard by the jury. This is the game that is played, and the defense is not playing well.

The judge would do better to let some of the objections go the jury has to be annoyed by him not allowing the defense the most simple questions.
It’s 700 witness and this judge taking weeks off and doing half day sessions. I said it before this trial will be dragged out so much that YT will have served at least 5 yrs by time we get a verdict.

There are other cases still happening and how do you know it’s all about the judge? He has to organise around not only his other trials but all of those lawyers and their other cases as well as the jury members.

I don’t understand how a person needing a service dog to assume his life could be given such responsibilities ? In Europe a Judge suffering post - trauma syndrome would have been given medical vacations in a sanatorium and not a trial 🤔…. and this trial is long and complex …

My problem with this entire trial is, if these guys committed all these old crimes "in furtherance" of a gang, and the prosecution says they are ALL guilty of the same thing RHICO, why does the leader (stevens) and the others get a slap on the wrist. How is it fair that they get off and the ones that went to trial get 20 years or more if found guilty. That just does not sit well with me.
It's part of the system. They flipped state's witness so they get lesser charges or immunity. That's what happens when the state is the one bringing charges.

Bc the other gang members turned on Jeffery Williams, and they're saying that he was the one pulling all of the strings on Atlanta's streets. And so many of them turned on who they call King Slime, that he gets the brunt of the RICO indictment. Rico just means a spiderweb of a bunch of folks doing bad things with a leader. And they say that leader is Jeffery Williams.

Anyone else feel that at this pace, this trial will go beyond 12/31/24? It’s ridiculous to start a proceeding @ 10 or 10:30 and then not even go a half of a day. Plus they rarely go on Friday.
57mins 24secs, the court reporter is the first employee of the court to show Stevens any kind of compassion or understanding.
And Stevens got better manners than the prosecution who didn't even say thank you at 57min 33secs.

He tries to act like he does everything to benefit the jury. I'm sure they are frustrated at how court is being extended but alot of time it has been extended to what they will hold against defendants possibly.
