If you are fast with your feet, you can fool your opponent letting them see you at 'transition zone' but 'quickly move up' as they are about to hit the ball. Then you can attack or drive back that ball or let it fly. It's my 'peek a boo' trick, but you have to be quick or it's going to backfire.
