Thanks. I noticed I have a tendancy to get my right foot forward too early so I'm too open and lose control. Is that a common issue? It certainly effects my ability to move forward through the shot and end up moving back or up

Great question my friend! It sounds like the footwork variation you are using is a pivot where you rotate off the front foot and finish in an open stance. This is a great move, but you might not be performing it correctly based off what you told me.
