    what is the best time/days to go there to see some aircraft?

    • @NigelWoolleyaviation
      @NigelWoolleyaviation  2 года назад

      Hi Zidyth. Regular airbase movements are usually Monday to Thurs 8.30am ish for first takeoffs onwards, quiet at lunchtime then afternoon airborne activities 1-2pm ish. Friday morning too but not the afternoon normally. Having said that anything can happen any day. Enjoy when you get there!

      @@NigelWoolleyaviation Thanks and also do you know any other spots not at the airport where you could see them? like the stockton sand dunes

    • @NigelWoolleyaviation
      @NigelWoolleyaviation  2 года назад

      @@zidyth7245 Sorry Zidyth trying to help you there as I haven't ventured along the coast but if you can aquire some knowledge from local spotters at the base they can give you suggestions with good rewards at the right time and the right wind direction etc. Another spotting area is Finnin park which is where the aircraft approach over the lake to land into southerly type winds. It's not ideal for videos but fine for stills. Good luck with better research from others!
