F35 King of Lemons: Australia swindled by Lockheed Martin and its Joint Strike Fighter - Michael West. Every one involved now on FAT contracts with US Defence Companies. (extract) POGO has also reported that multiple sources within the F-35 program say that Lockheed Martin claims the design meets all specifications and that further changes can only be made by a contract adjustment. In other words, Lockheed will not fix the inherent faults unless the customer pays for it. www.michaelwest.com.au/king-of-lemons-australia-swindled-by-lockheed-martin-and-its-joint-strike-fighter/
Happy that we are getting our 88 Block IV F-35's. In the meantime thanks Australia for your old F-18's. God bless Australia God bless Canada & the Commonwealth.
Sweet looking plane, but wondered why they don't have a one piece canopy like the F16 or F22.. But on reading up as to why, I found out that they have/use DAS which takes the need for a one piece canopy away..
Been years since I last went up to fighter world, Is that as close as you can get or can you go up to the fence further up? Obviously would block view to a certain extent but was just wondering. My current lens isn’t too good, waiting for a new one.
Love the Wheelie Landins. Onya Boys! Nearly as good as the Navy "Playstation"" pilots landin on a Deck that's Rockin and Rollin, bout the length of a footy field! in a ""Peter Brock Special 5 litre"" A4 skyhawk, Respect to All!
Helix ...F35Bs don’t need a ski jump to take off or land. The ships have the ski jump because it was going to cost too much to remove them from the original engineering design.

Bold statement that doesn’t hold much credibility. Why would you feel the need to reply to my comment with such political propaganda?
Great videos! Regards to Australia :-)!

That 45,000 lbs. of thrust must be loud as f!@#!
no not really it is the same noise as a hair dryer
It is loud
@@happydog1026 A hair dryer has a decibel rating of about 85, where as the F35 has a decibel rating of about 109..
@@Ghastly10 lol guess you didn't get the joke!
Amazing 45k lbs thrust crazy.... the f22 engines only make max 38k lbs thrust each..
Train spotting nek level
For a one engine aircraft they are damn loud..😲
Mr Brian H it’s duel engine it just has one after burner

Single engine (F135-PW-100)
How can an f-35 take off if you're country is upside down??
You press a button, the tyres let go and you just fall up, don’t you know anything.
The RAN just need a Squadron of F35Bs for their “they aren’t carriers”!
Cam F yes the they aren’t carriers why have they a ski jump on them mmmm don’t know but they aren’t carriers
