As a photographer, the point of 13:38 made for an epic shot. Too bad many of these are going to Canada for spares source. Great video man!
Thanks for the kind comment and yes sad to see some go but they live on
Avalon Airport Spotter Fantastic doing plane spotting outside an RAAF base - sure beats spotting Airbus a320’s and Boeing 737’s. I appreciate your tracking skills. BTW, were these classic Hornets destined for Canada, or Super Hornets?
@@artistjoh No not the Rhinos, these classics are!
Cool vid. 77 sqn sent 3 hornets to the classic fighter's airshow in Blenheim, New Zealand Easter weekend. 2 colourful hornets, one in 77 sqn green 77 anniversary markings, the other one is in this vid at 8:03 mark. It is actually now broken down at Woodbourne afb.
Awesome can’t wait for Pitch Black 2020👍🏻👍🏻🙃🙃
Great video mate can see myself right in front of you the next big event which is my favorite Number 2 Operational Conversion Unit Williamtown flyover December 8th 2017 looking forward to this then christmas lol
Well captured! Great job on the low passes, great footage of the 2OCU jets recovering with their drop tanks, long flight for those guys!
Love the video guys very very fast jets indeed
nice video mate love all the jets flying by so fast and low brilliant
Fantastic
I might hear these Fast fighter jets nearby our Camp tomorrow
Great video, good filming!
Are they simulating attacking the base?? They are coming in pretty quick and hitting burners on the turn.
Love them.
Amazing
Hawk. The coolest
Super Awesome!
Awesome low fly bys. Looks incredible. Makes me wish I lived in Darwin again. Would see this sort of stuff a lot.
haha but this was williamtown haha
Avalon Airport Spotter oh I know it just reminds me of Darwin :)
o haha yeah i miss darwin too for this stuff ill be up for Pitch Black next year
I think you were in a good spot as the light on the landing a/c was spectacular, but if you can, turn off the AF on the video and you'll get better results.
Is this some kind of tactical recovery ? Like to have the biggest number of planes coming at the same time to minimize exposure to treats when slow & low ?
Ols comment but no. This is the last phase of an instructors course.
They fly down and 'attack' the airbase, and the base scrambles fighters to intercept. They have a fight and then form up for the flyover and recovery
End of an era now 😔
Hi, Great video. Does the F-18 fly everyday from Monday to Friday? Usually at afternoon? What about Sunday?
Hey the RAAF will fly Monday to Thursday Friday maybe depends weekends no unless airshow or a Training Exercise
Thanks for reply. Because I'm living in Sydney now and I'm planning to go there to watch the training. So, how can I know the training time in advance?
Thats awesome thanks for watching you can head to williamtown any time to watch they have a Museum Called Fighter World that you can watch from Hawk 127s go up alot hornets not sure but you can see Hercs or C17s Come in
Have a look on the RAAF Facebook page and they tell you whats going on how many aircraft times flying ETC....
That's perfect! Thank you so much for the information! Have a nice weekend.
