@@cristobalbalenciaga7295 Whatever floats your boat, whatever fits your needs, man. There's no "one DAW to rule them all". I think FL Studio isn't ideal for beginners, it can be a real mess, but I've seen people getting the hang of it, while others (like myself) can't seem to do so at all. I use both Ableton and Logic tho, and I'd say Logic is cool, beacause it has an amazing number of stock plug-ins and sounds, Ableton as well, but Ableton's really awesome beacause of it's session and track double-view. FL users say they don't like how other DAWs force them into a workflow, and FL is super accomodating for them.
Thanks for the video! , I use Ableton for 4 years, now I switch to Logic Pro X and Garage Band, the DAW doesnt matter, we have to learn music and production concepts, and apply them into our preference DAW. (Ableton, Logic Pro X, Cubase, ProTools, Studio One, Reaper etc...) and create music !
Hello, just wanted to thank you for your generosity with the free download and this information. So many people try hard to keep things so people will pay but I find the more generous people are the more I want to purchase their products. You're no exception. Thanks, I appreciate all you've done to help people like me get on the path to creating.
Thanks for the video! I am still trying out Ableton Live Lite (came with midi controller), but Fl studio was definetely the cheapest one (bought the top version for around 300 usd during Black friday sale)
Thanks for the video!. I use Ableton for 4 years, now Iam using Logic Pro X and Garabe Band, we have to learn generic music and production concepts that we can apply in any DAW (Ableton,Logic Pro X, ProTools, Cubase, BitWing, Studio One , Reaper .. etc), view tutorials in any DAW and apply that in our main DAW, thats it!
in Logic there is a much faster and better way to convert MIDI tracks to audio by one touch simply hit (Control - B) this feature called bounce in place to bounce regions and then you can deactivate and hide original track to clean workspace without flatten it, you can always go back to reedit the sound
I'm used to using Ableton for songwriting, sound design and then mixing and mastering in Logic. Especially since Ableton's plugin delay compensation sucks.
Im a trap producing that also wants to make pop music..i own an mpc live 2 as well. Thinking of getting ableton...but which daw do yall suggest? I start beats on the mp but want a daw to finish the tracks (via effects, vst strings, keys etc)
I’ve heard that for trap/hip-hop beats, a lot of people end up using FL studios, because of the step sequencer. This way, all you’d need to do is come up with the different variations, and then just copy paste the pattern in. Also, with FL studios, there’s the FLKey 37 keyboard. It’s kinda expensive, tho Black Friday is coming and you can get em used. But, the keyboard is purpose built for FL studios (they also make one specifically for Ableton) and once you can learn how to use it, you’d be able to use the pads on the keyboard to play the drums live.
I used Studio One for a while. Jumped from FL Studio to it and loved the move. Studio One is a fantastic DAW but when I was using it I struggled to find any good tutorials on the software especially producing Techno (which is my main genre). So I ended up buying Ableton Live and haven't regretted my decision.
@@carbonnickel I was thinking about going with Ableton since there are so many courses teaching it. I'll try it. Maybe I can come back to Studio One once I know what I'm doing. I really feel more comfortable there, but who knows. Maybe I won't want to go back.

@@rollipolliPNW I'll try it out & stick with it this time. I'm just a singer/songwriter that wants to get into production. Ableton seemed a bit daunting when I tried it before, tbh, but eh I'll do what I gotta do. Thanks for the suggestion!
Ableton’s is great, I went from S1 to Ableton, but I still use both. Actually, I own almost all the popular DAWS and they all have their own strengths and weaknesses.
@@toniverz_lofi Joyride is an excellent track. Well done! I do some synthy stuff under “Man-Made Men.” (Our track Siberian Frost is probably best rep of our work.) Keep making bangers!

Logic has “bounce in place” to convert midi to audio via (Control B). It’s actually faster in Logic without having to “freeze” first then “flatten”.
logic is for little girls
but freeze is better, cuz u can always unfreeze
Logic freezes too. It was introduced way before Ableton did. I prefer to bounce-in-place
Gagged him a bit
@@hilloy4537you can freeze in Logic exactly like in Ableton too! 🤦🏽♂️
guys. stop watching videos. start creating. great video btw
On ableton, logic or fl studio?

Great advice
Hope you enjoyed this one! Seems like I need to do a broader comparison of DAWs next time though 😉
Ableton Gang, you know what it is 😎. Beforehand, I used Logic Pro for 10 years though. Reason and "Fruity Loops" before that.

I heard reaper had the least of a learning curve. Is that true?
12:30 FL studio has Newtone which does the same thing as flex pitch
Doesn’t work nearly as good as also pain to use work flow wise

@12:20 Ableton has chord monitoring in its Max4Live device 'Midi Monitor'... just found that out

Btw, Logic has a Session View equivalent: Live Loops.
I'm used to using Ableton for songwriting, sound design and then mixing and mastering in Logic. Especially since Ableton's plugin delay compensation sucks.
Ableton has the Push 3 controller and Max for live. Game over.
Your hardware list is missing. Your keyboard controller is a vital link. Logic Pro is Apple only (mentioned pretty late in video).
Logic Pro 💪💪💪💪 Can’t pay the bills without it
Even though I started out in FL Studio, I have found that both Logic and Ableton suit my style better.
Do you make hiphop or trap?
Ableton is probably cool, but it looks like a concrete building.
FL Studio has NewTone "meladyne equivalent"

Cubase?
No, Ableton
no, ableton vs fl vs logic
And I'm saying Cubase.
@@QWLMusic I think you clicked on the wrong video, this isn't about cubase

No, Ableton
I like how in Ableton you can audition midi while in logic you can’t
Logic is the cheapest. So it wins.
Def Studio One - it’s hands down the best for finishing music quickly.

Ableton 💪
logic has the potential to be the goat eventually
FL Studio for me.
Fast bip? Bitwig!
reaper
idk why but Ableton looks the easiest for me
Just bought ableton live intro . It has 16 tracks. What really made me leave Fl Studio was the auto warp. Warping in fl studio is a headache
I would pick the one where the guy knows how to shave! Hippie!
