Seriously! It's like -- you guys are a video company, you had one job! Granted, I don't watch every trypodcast, but for those that I do, it seems like all of them have video/audio problems. It's getting REAL old. What is more frustrating is that this is Eugene's return to the TryPod and we can't get all four Try Guys?!? WTF? Forgive me, but I just had to vent this out.

I have been a try guys fan since buzzfeed and while I love it when it's the 4 of you together, the entire crew and the friends you feature are always so entertaining. the try wives/partners being featured more is exciting, the videos with Kwesi are also some of my favorites. while I will always love the early days, I think your content has evolved in such a perfect and natural way. instead of holding off on giving us content, you make it possible by amplifying other voices and giving people a platform to really expand their careers and I love that.
I hope Kweisi becomes the 5th try guy!
@@alicial1632 he is so entertaining, literally every video he's been in makes me laugh so hard. I also love Rome and Cam from dormtainment and Alex and Hughie, and pretty much everyone they've had on! I don't think they've featured anyone i wasn't thoroughly entertained by and it just shows how hard they work at finding good people to showcase.

I really appreciate Eugene taking the time to explain his ongoing workload/thought process, especially about working on passion projects and finding confidence in one's work while also dealing with the industry. As someone who also burns the midnight oil to work on passion projects outside of my daily work shift, hearing him talk about his perspective gave me great comfort. I wish him the best in what he's trying to do! Also love that the guys enthusiastically support each other's endeavors regardless, its just awesome~

@@YOLOMCM1324 I thought that too but because of the vast size of the Chicxulub impact site, we know that the object that caused it was massive, which is why there is a debate on if it was a comet or an asteroid. Meteors are usually so small they burn up in the atmosphere, which is why we see as shooting stars.

Hey TryGuys!! I think you should just get a Life-size cut off of Eugene for all the episodes that he's not in. Just so he can be there in cutout form and spirit. And the other guy's can make the episodes fun by trying to talk like Eugene and say things that Eugene would say.
Or they sew a plushie with his face and body and place him sitting in.

Eugene saying no one would write a novel in Google Docs, when like half my writer friends do exactly that. (I wouldn't; I prefer Word or Scrivener.) I'm very excited to see the results of all these projects, though.

Our lawn usually greens up after a lightning storm, even if it doesn't rain.
Everytime the video cuts out on the podcast, i realise how much i rely on reading lips (i sometimes have audio processing issues and usually use subtitles but the autogenerated ones can be very bad when everyone talks at the same time) - love the podcast anyway

I received the same advice from my Dad, don't tell others what you're up to. It's so nice to see you back and hear what you've been working on, Eugene! :) I also appreciate you talking about working on the projects we started which I think most of us allow to die.
It's gotta be an immigrant family thing. I'm Korean and my mom always told me "Don't tell others what you're doing until it's done. It's always better to be a late happy surprise than a disappointment when you can't deliver on what you promised."
I had a boss tell me that in college, plus in my library job it’s an official patent resource center, so when people start to say their ideas when asking for help we’re all like STOP TALKING TO PROTECT YOUR IP!
The traditional 4 guys in a vid is and will always be my favorite thing but the guests and other friends they have on is fun to watch for sure. Excited for all the cool stuff coming.
So with Eugene talking about his career I'm wondering if they can talk more about how they juggle their career and their relationship with their significant other

I loved hearing about Eugene's struggle to get to where he is and being able to get more opportunities. As an artist myself it was a good way to see the bigger picture and realize I have the time to still keep on growing. Really appreciated that!

There was a kid in my high school who was struck by lightning while walking through the football field during a storm and the only reason he lived was because he had a hole in the bottom of his shoe that let the lightening pass through without being bounced back up from the rubber soles, flippin crazy!
Choy is the general term for greens in Chinese. Bok choy means literally “white greens” and is a specific choy.

As a multipreneur, I love Eugene being open about all these projects. People love to say you can't do more than one thing at once, just because they can't imagine themselves doing the same.
The idea of multitasking has been corrupted (mostly by bosses that want OTHER people to do it) to be the idea that you can do several things at the same moment, not during the same time span. We all can do many different things during a day, week or month, we just can't do them all in the same moment.

We are all multifaceted, expecting people to choose one career that they do for the majority of their lifetime while only slipping in hobbies and interests is definitely an oppressive capitalist concept that isn't helping any human being or the planet.

This was so freaking inspiring. I missed Eugene’s wisdom so much and as an aspiring creator who can only /dream/ of doing the things he’s done, I really felt /seen/ in this moment. I’m sure a lot of young artists out there felt like this, but with the rawness and vulnerability he shared his experience from humble beginnings to now I felt like he was talking straight to me. It’s that ability to resonate with his audience that makes me sure whatever this man touches will turn to gold and his projects will be an absolute hit. We’re all rooting for you out here Eugene, and we’re all with you in spirit.

Jumping in FAST to say lightning is no joke - my grandma has been struck by lightning four times in her life. (She’s still alive, but she doesn’t go outside if there’s a chance of rain anymore!)
My father was struck by lightning as a kid. There was a streak across his chest where hair never grew.
I always listen to the audio of TryPod on my commute and got so excited about Eugene joining that I pushed off listening so I could sit down to watch the video on RUclips…I played myself 😭

Eugene you give me so much hope. I have a novel story that I have been sitting on for so long and I am going though a really big change in my life. I’m not even 21 and I’ve been starting to lose hope. Yes I know that I am young and that I shouldn’t worry about those things but I have been. I feel like I can do it. Your never too young to make your dreams come true. That is a message that I feel is not heard a lot not a days. I feel like people think that if you don’t do something impactful before your 25 you’ve failed but that is so not true. Thank you Eugene I really needed and appreciated you sharing this because it has given me a lot of new perspective that I have been looking to hear
