I love picturing this miracle "maintenance man" who showed up mysteriously right when you needed him, knew just what to do without hesitation, and disappeared into the night. Like the magic man on top of the train in the Polar Express catching you when you fall.

Big try: Farm equipment. My grandsons are crazy for tractors, combines, balers. Getting up hay. Oh my! Or construction: excavators, Bob cats, skid steers. My 4 year old grandson can drive a tractor. He would loooove this!

and you’ve almost forgotten the fire alarm, but it’s loud and just blaring now in the bathroom haha.
Idk how to put this into words. Going to the bathroom for me when I’m drunk was always the moment of “wow i feel fucked up”. I can’t imagine trying to on top of the stimuli of a party process “wait is this okay?” Hahahaha. Wild. Glad everyone was safe.

I used to throw parties in my 20s and being fucked up and dealing with ridiculous chaos is par for the course. Once at a party I threw we showed up at the venue and the guy we’d been working with said that our party couldn’t happen there cuz we wanted to go till 4am, even though we agreed to it? So we moved about 200 people, a PA system, all our decorations and find a new place to party in about 20-30 minutes. We wound up in a community center basement. Also I was drunk and on some other party favors.
Now I’m in my 30s and have green smoothies and do art therapy exercises every morining 🤣
I really hope they did something nice for the maintanance guy,I would of probably gave him some food and drinks for sure.

Lol I have a similar story from a high school party, Miles. Except my girlfriend at the time had to pee so bad when we were hiding that she just inevitably peed her pants. And a kid ending up puking feet from us in the closet we were crammed in to. Good times :-)))

miles' story reminds me of one time when we had a party in high school. we called it "kick back" since there was only 10 ppl there just hanging and drinking, playing beer pong and drinking card games lol, just minding our own business. the police were called i guess so they came, and instead of answering the door, we shut off the music and lights and everyone shut up. we looked outside and saw ten cop cars! there was at least one for each of us. i think they thought that it was a much bigger party. anyway, a few people ran out the back, jumped the fence, and were arrested immediately. the rest of us just kept the lights and music off, put on a movie, and all was clear after that. we just went home like nothing happened. except for those few that ran lol

We had a Halloween party a few years ago and our friend got so drunk he fell down the OUTSIDE CONCRETE STAIRS. He was okay, just a bad broken nose, and when we decided we should call an ambulance, I blurted out "should we call his mom too?" ...we're all 27-31. The urge to call adults is SO STRONG !
