    Watching this has me realizing that I'm gonna need a drill with plenty of torque and a very low speed setting.

      @@adriand6477 For drilling or wrenching, sure, but not for grinding coffee.
      Torque is important, but low speed is also a key here.
      We're talking 100 to 200 RPM max, the faster it will go beyond that speed the worse coffee will taste. And also this speed has to be consistant and it's very hard to keep it under control with any drill/wrench, Milwaukee products included.

    • @Bloodysugar
      @Bloodysugar Год назад +1

      In fact we are looking for a steper motor around 40nm of torque and 300 RPM with a speed dial to fine adjust speed to our coffees and tastes. And we want it fixed (like wall mounted) to avoid kickbacks.

    Hi!
    Does Kingrinder officially recommends a specific torque (Nm) and speed (RPM) for the drill when we use the drill to grind coffee beans with the Kingrinder K4?
    Thanks for the vid!

      The noisy is on the drilling, i will still recommend. Whenever i need to grind on more finer, it requires more energy if grind manually by hand, so using drilling helps alot and more easier.

      Hello. I have a K4 grinder and yes, it can definitely grind fine for Turkish. Actually I was surprised it might have even been too fine at 35 clicks so I might try maybe 45 clicks or something next time. Of course it takes a while to grind for Turkish coffee, maybe like 4 minutes by hand but it’s impressive anyways that this grinder can even go fine enough for Turkish coffee. Also if you want, you can technically grind Turkish with any grinder if you just pound it with a mortar and pestle afterwards to turn it ultra-fine.

      I have bought a drill that's 23N. My previous one had 13N and didn't work well. However I've noticed the coffee tastes sour (not only acid) when I grind too fast. I'm still getting getting used to it, since the new dril arrived only yesterday.
