    Great video! I'm a new coffee nerd and just got introduced to your channel! -- oh how i wish you guys included KINGrinder here! Have you heard of them?Apparently its the same manufacturer as izpresso... Would love to hear your thoughts on that and the Picopresso! Not seeing a video for the pico either! Appreciate your time!

    Whatbis best hand grinder for use with moccamaster cup one

  • @Adam-vx6to

    My favorite is the Pietro with pro brew burrs. Although it's hard for most people to use it as a "hand" grinder. By far the best quality of any hand grinder on the market.

    I'm stuck between Chestnut C3 MAX Pro and Chestnut G1 Plus, what is recommended?

  • @hittemni

    I thought the jmax was from Taiwan, not mainland China, big difference

      Yep, China and Taiwan are different. But in the video Ryan was referencing the fact that 1zpresso is manufactured in China though their HQ is in Taiwan.

    so does Timemore C2 is better than C3?

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  Год назад

      The C3 is actually an upgrade from the C2. They share the same size, but the C3 has new S2C steel burrs adopted from the Chestnut X in a smaller 38mm size. It also has a stepless grinding adjustment so you can use it for everything from espresso to french press.

    So long as there's a chance to buy 1Z, don't consider Timemore. None of my Timemore last over 6 months and my 1Z kpro have served over a year and half, still at its best state.

    If the prices of KINU M47C and Feld 47 2023 are the same, what more do you recommend? For convenience, Feld 47 looks good, but the important thing is the taste, so please recommend it.

    What would you recommend for turkish coffee, which is finer than espresso. Thanks

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  Год назад

      The STC Turkish hand grinder (not featured here) grinds ultra-fine. The Comandante and Omega can do it sufficiently as well.

    1z is actually a Taiwanese brand, not Chinese.

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  11 месяцев назад +1

      1Zpresso is headquartered in Taiwan, but they have a factory in China. The grinders are Chinese-made.

  • @vadims4840
    @vadims4840 Месяц назад

    Actually Timemore are Chinese grinders, and 1zpresso are from Taiwan. It doesn't speak about quality, but if you'd like to say it, it is worth saying it more precisely

      @primacoffeeequipment  Месяц назад

      @@vadims4840 Both Timemore and 1Zpresso hand grinders are definitely made in China. 1Z is only headquartered in Taiwan. Their factory is in China.

      @@primacoffeeequipment It's like someone says "here are apple iphone and google pixel, and we gonna compare them. Both are Chinese phones, but we have no others (basically there are some Indian apples also)". Truth, but still more common to name the country of manufacturer by where the brain is located, not the hands

    You guys aren't a fan of the French Press then? You didn't mention it even once.

    • @primacoffeeequipment
      @primacoffeeequipment  10 месяцев назад +3

      Sure we are! French Press requires approximately the same grind size as a 2-3 cup pour over (medium to medium-coarse), so any grinder recommended for filter coffee in this video will also work well with French Press.
