THE VERY BEST review for BOTH filter and espresso grinds for REASONABLY priced hand grinders. I will be a new subscriber because of THIS perfect video! Thank you.
I'm glad that that you guys are finally getting around to making longer form content. Splendid! I have a c3 pro, but compared to the JX the performance gap is huge. When I first decided to get into coffee, deciding to go with JX-Pro (Several times more expensive, probably 3x more expensive) was the best decision I ever did. Not only can it grind for espresso beautifully, it also does very good filter coffee with some skills (and good water, this one is VERY important). Knowing that I had a good grinder, I could focus on the coffee, which I did, and now entering a second year I decided to get a Zp6 for filter, and man it's been amazing. The C3 Pro however, is an EXCELLENT travel grinder, foldable handle, can fit in anything, light but solid, when you're travelling it almost doesn't matter, and often you're brewing with questionable water quality, so this is an excellent grinder.
Hi there, we couldn't agree more! Your kind words mean a lot 💯 Stay tuned for our upcoming video, which will include something similar to the JX-Pro from 1Zpresso 🤍☕️😊
I literally stumbled into the world of manual grinding yesterday and am now hooked. There's a deal on a K6 which Ill get as a starter, and probably never need/want another grinder again. Thanks for a great informative video.
Great video!! You are the first to talk about the difference in time between each click. I already choose the timemore C3s but I'm mora an enthusiast and ocasional espresso drinker so I'm glad that it will be great for me.
Very informative video. This might be of help for someone, I have the Normcore V2 and it presents problems with the static burr, after little use it becomes considerably loose and the grind losses consistency, you can fix it by tightening the ring that secures it but after one or two uses (even during use) it becomes loose again. I´ve seen reviews with the same issue, so I would advise you to stay away from that model and wait if all that is solved with the V3.
I don't understand your comment. The static burr is practically glued/screwed to the body of the grinder and not connected to the shaft or any other movable parts, how can it become loose after a couple of uses lol? That doesn't make sense. And speaking of rings, the small one(s) on the shaft are pushed up tight by the spiral. I have experienced some occasional grind inconsistencies but I fail to see any reproducible mechanical issues.
Excellent comparison, thank you. I just ordered the K2 recently. Your explanation of the bur size, bearings and adjustability have given me confidence in my choice. Thank you.🙏
was gonna buy C2, but thanks to you for mentioning how its 'spoke' support inside is made out of plastic, I decided to spend a little bit more of cash and grab the C3S!
Thank you for this wonderful. May I please ask you for your prompt advice?? I just received a Timemore C3 Max Pro. I heard wonderful things about the King K6 grinder. I will drink almost exclusively pour over coffee with metal filters and on occasion cloth filters. I grew up in Puerto Rico with 28 Coffee trees on our family property and my earliest memories are harvesting, drawing, roasting and brewing, our wonderful coffee from our own property. The coffee growers I would laugh at you for using filters. We didn’t use filters at all, used cloth filters or filters when we moved out of Puerto Rico and encountered cultures that used paper filter, we realized there was a far different flavor base. So I love the richness and the silkiness of coffee that has not been filtered through paper. However, I do want to introduce myself to different flavor bases. That being said, I will predominantly use pour over. Which grinder would you think would serve me better. I care about flavor. Thank you very much.
thank you for this. i’ve been trying to look for a hand grinder without breaking the bank. 🎉. all the $300~$600 grinders look amazing, but it’s way too much 😢
And what if we throw in the Kingrinder k6? That's what I have my eyes on. I would mostly be using it for espresso, occasional moka or turkish coffee. Would that be the better choice over these showed in the video?
Hello, gongratulations fot the great job you do with this chanell! Hello! Is it that much of a difference between Kingrinder k2 and timemore c3 in the pour over coffee? If so, would the k1 get me similar results as the c3? Because i can get the k2 for the same price as the c3 and the k1 for -11 euros.
Hi there, it is tought to say, the C3 might have the slight edge over the K2, but the versatility of the K2 is much better. We personally wouldn't recommend going with the K0 or K1, K2 is the better option over them 🤍☕️
Hi, may I know which is better? C3 esp pro or the kingrinder k2? Primary use is for espresso. From the awesome video above, i know that k2 is better than c3 esp, but what about against c3 esp pro?

Thank you so much for this video! You really helped me out with upgrading my coffee setup, passing on my cafetière and my electric grinder. I opted for the Timemore C3esp Pro due to its compatability, cost at time of purchase ($10 less than 1ZP Q2) and setup (pourover & moka pot). I'll come back with my words on this purchase!
@pablonoguerales1425 it is a very good and capable grinder. I've added an Aeropress to my setup, it is quicker to clean up. I have found it has a bit of inconsistentcy in grind sizes but much better than I was getting before (spritzing improves that). Because of my different styles of brewing I have found settings to be slightly overwhelming, Timemore doesn't give you a booklet for their recommended setting on different brews, just the markings on the inner dial that are significantly large. @@JasonDevadason Pour over I usually play around from 1.6-1.4 turns, depending on roast, and moka pot I actually do slightly higher than the mark (1.2-1.1)

Good afternoon neighbor I just got my kingrinder k4 about a month ago, and i can say that it's better from electric grinders about 6-7x the price Extra gift, the only 30" grind for espresso
@@ourcoffeesheltersounds very interesting. Any chance you could include a test of Turkish coffee grind level? I have the K6 and think it's pretty capable for this (at 28 clicks). I have one click that works for my c2 on my Bambino Plus. Grinding time is about 2 minutes and you have to dial in by dose. However, that is with a medium dark roast (Onyx Eclipse). So, it will work (at least it does for me) but it isn't practical as a daily driver.
