Excellent video thanks! I have an Atlas cart with a Nidec 400A controller and a 4-pin connector under the dash. It already gets 25.9MPH but would do with some more. Any thoughts on whether there's a kit available to do that? Thanks!
That controller I don't know much about. The guy I know who makes cables hasn't mentioned that brand as something he can make. Check the Buggies Gone Wild forum for that cart/controller. There may be someone with hands on experience with them. Good luck!
Hey, I am looking for increasing my speed to 35 max on my 2018 Tomberland 48v E merges . The cart has a Sevocon Gen 4 controller. I tried to get a navitus and change out but they don't make a harness for this brand. What do you suggest. I am willing to spend $ if I just get the program and change the speed. I know as a fact the speed can be increased.
After an internet search and read through some forums, I'm thinking it would be easier to put a Curtis wiring harness and accelerator pedal on it then get a Navitas system rather than try to program that controller.
hi, nice straight forward vid, do you have any info for changing settings on the kandi golf carts, i want to make the "throttle" smoother, its very jerky and unresponsive. i have the newest 2024 version
That would depend on which controller you have. Have you opened up the back and taken a look at it? I have another video on the channel that shows how to gain access to the controller and a few of the different controller types.
@@garymartin862 You may want to check out buggiesgonewild.com. there's a user by the name of KrazyMatt, www.buggiesgonewild.com/member.php?u=30269. He makes comm cables, and the software is available for download at various places online.
Yes sir it’s a 2022 Bintelli Beyond golf cart and cart was turned on. Yes sir installed in a windows machine it just would not communicate when I pressed f2
It depends on the controller you have. If it's the curtis controller, there's a link to that one in the description. If it's one of the other controllers, there's a facebook group (ExCar/Bintelli/REVO) with a member (Gnarly Matt) that makes the cables. I think you then have to get the software from buggies gone wild or another source.
Hi, do you know what is the problem with a golf cart controller that continuously flashes a green light non-stop? Does that indicate any problem or damage? could you help me troubleshoot the controller, I uploaded the video please let me know how to share it with you. thanks
That I do not know. You may want to check buggies gone wild to see if anyone has a controller like yours. They might have manuals or something to help out. Good luck!
Just want to double-check a few things, do you for sure have the Curtis controller in the cart? If so, is the cart turned on when you are attempting to use the Curtis 1314? Install the software in a Windows machine? In the software interface, selected the correct communications port for the controller programmer?
If you get the programmer linked in the description, mine came with a CD-ROM and a USB flash drive with the program to access the module and make any changes you want. I would highly suggest keeping a log or notes of any changes you make, so you can quickly and easily change them back if there's a malfunction or an issue.
My controller does not look like the ones in your post. It is metal and have fins. Its on a 2022 ViVID EV with Lithium battery. All these the only 3 there is?
There are a ton of different controllers a cart can use. A Bintelli cart will use one of the 3 in the video. Curtis controllers are frequently found on many golf cart brands. I'm not familiar with the ViVID brand. I looked them up, but didn't find much info on them.
That controller I don't know much about. The guy I know who makes cables hasn't mentioned that brand as something he can make. Check the Buggies Gone Wild forum for that cart/controller. There may be someone with hands on experience with them. Good luck!
Have you double checked the controller to make sure you have the correct programmer? or, tried variations of the cart being off or on when you plug it in?
You're using the wrong program more than likely. I have an 2024 Evolution D5 Ranger 4 with a 400-C controller and you need specific software for that particular controller. Even though the cables do work for other model controllers besides the Curtis controller, it will not connect. Look at the type of controller you have and post here. I got my cart from 25mph to 32mph with just adjusting the high to 5650rpm. Max rpm for my motor is 6000. It's a good idea not to max the rpm out. As stated in the video, make small changes and test drive. Take video or photos of original and new changes. Always document...
That video is on the list to do. Not everyone has the same controller. I'm working to find someone who is willing to show the settings for other controllers as well. I may end up just doing the Curtis controller settings and then other controllers later.

Hello! Thanks for all your assistance. I’m going to send back the Curtis 1314 and reorder one. Maybe it’s a bad controller.
Hello again. Thank you for your assistance! Any other suggestions?
Any info on the cable and software for Bintelli Beyond? I have changed to lithium batteries and need to tune the voltage

Hello sir! I purchased the Curtis 1314 programmer and it would not communicate with the cart. Is there something I am missing?

If you buy the Curtis programmer usb interface box do you still need the program? If so where do you find the program.

Any ideas for the PDG speed controller ?
Sorry, no, I am not familiar with that one.
Anyone have any info on how to plug into an FJ controller?
I'm not familiar with those. Have you checked out buggies gone wild?
Can’t find the link for the cable and the software
Can you please sent it to me
Sure can, this is for the Curtis controllers only.

I get timed out msg when connecting to evo cart with cart on

Do you offer services to help me do this?
If you're within my carts driving distance, sure.
Have you done 2018 48v Tom erland
I'm not sure what that is. I googled the name and a football player is what I came up with.
Hello again! Any other suggestions to increase speed? Should I order another Curtis 1314 programmer and try again? Could it have been my computer?
Dang, no parameters values...?
