    00:51 - 𝗤:01 - Cart speed reduced issue - I have a Club Car golf cart. Cart speed reduced to about half speed fully charge. Batteries only two yrs. Been told could be the speed sensor or MCOR. Wanted your opinion. Thanks in advance.
    02:22 - 𝗤:02 - Cart batteries issue - I have a 2008 Club Car DS. It will run in small stints but stalls out and stops. Any way to test the solenoid vs Speed controller?
    03:35 - 𝗤:03 - Cart tires issues - I bought an EZGO S4 lithium cart for my farm with 15" Paramount M/T tires. We use the cart in fields and trails, and I mean to tell you it is rough riding. I tried lowering the tire pressure and got some ride relief, but I'm thinking I need all-terrain balloon tires. Your thoughts?
    05:09 - 𝗤:04 -Cart replacement controller issue - Can you provide any tips and/or instructions for installing a replacement controller? I've just purchased a Navitas TAC2 AC Motor Controller for my 2009 EZ-GO RXV Danahar, model #10-000880-02 (600A). Any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated!
    07:04 - 𝗤:05 - Cart stock shocks issue - I installed a 6" A-frame lift kit on my '97 Club Car DS. It still has stock shocks. Should I replace them or modify them since I installed the lift kit? Thanks!
    09:14 - 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
    11:13 - 𝗤:06 - Cart torque issue - Are parts available to increase torque as opposed to speed?
    12:06 - 𝗤:07 - How to convert EZGO TXT cart to lithium - I have a 2016 EZGO TXT. We would like 1. to improve the very harsh ride and 2. to convert to lithium (if feasible). Is that possible with this cart? If not, where could we find a comfortable riding lithium cart? Thank you for your time!
    14:37 - 𝗤:08 - Cart batteries issue - 6-volt batteries on 36-volt EZGO TXT cart, all had load test results 6-4. Is it time to replace the batteries?
    16:55 - 𝗤:09 - Cart Trojan system is starting to weaken issue - My 6 x 8-volt Trojan system is starting to weaken according to the warning light. The performance hasn't changed, but the light comes on as I finish a round of golf. That never happened until recently. I have a watering system and my garage is heated and air-conditioned. The batteries are 22 months old, and I play two rounds a week. How can I tell if it's the batteries or the charger?
    18:40 - 𝗤:10 - Cart ignition key issue - Is it OK to leave your ignition key in the on position when charging your electric golf cart?
    19:58 - 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀

    Hey Tim, I just finished watching your tutorial (#76) and I have to tell you, you come across as very knowledgeable and easy to comprehend. I say this from 30+ years as a carpenter and cabinetmaker and 40+ years as an evangelist. Your explanation method and demeanor are spot on! Keep up the really good work (BTW, with Jesus as your savior, you would make a great preacher!). God speed. Billy (Romans 5:8)

    I’ve got an early 2000s EZ-Go I’m having issues with intermittent power. You’ve got to do a random series of turning the key on and off before you can go. Then the power is intermittent, it will go very slow, then randomly speed up for a short time, before coming to a stop and doing it all over again.

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  Год назад +1

      Thanks for watching, Mike! The first thing to check here should be power. Getting a load test on those batteries would be our advice. Even 1 bad cell inside one battery can stop your cart or make for intermittent power supply. Let us know if you have more questions! Support@GolfCartGarage.com or (800) 401-2934

    Hi, o.k. I purchased a 2009 club cart precedent. When I purchased it from pawn shop, I should have test drove it, but I didn't. when I got it home and drove it, it took off fast then it started to slow down to 6 mph. The pawn shop purchased the parts the speed sensor and this other sensor, I put on the speed sensor, the speed got up too 13 mph flat ground. When we put the other sensor on, hopefully that will give it a little more power.

      @@GolfCartGarage 13 mph, is that all, wow. I thought at least 18 or 19. So what do I have to do if those other parts don't worm to speed it up?

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  11 месяцев назад +1

      You'll probably get to about 18-20mph with a lift and tires upgrade to a larger size, though that can sometimes rob a bit of torque. Beyond that, you can ask a local Club Car Dealer if they can program your system a bit higher, it may have been governed if it was used for a course. Past that, you're looking at powertrain upgrades. The basics are here: ruclips.net/video/ElhaSpdxIlc/видео.html&pp=ygUWZ29sZiBjYXJ0IGdhcmFnZSBzcGVlZA%3D%3D

      @GolfCartGarage ok. I was going too send u a pic. It has a lift kit and bigger tires. But I'm going to put these other parts on and see what it does. 18mph is good enough for me. If it does that, im happy. Thks for the info.

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  Год назад

      The tester at the link below, I would recommend to provide the most accurate assessment of the condition of a 36 or 48 volt battery pack. Most consumer level DIY techs use a volt meter test under load using alligator clips.

    What is the M terminal on ezgo txt pds.?and where is it ?

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  Год назад

      The "M" terminal on an EZGO TXT PDS is a connection point for the motor on the vehicle. It is located on the controller, which is typically found under the seat of the golf cart.
      The "M" terminal is specifically used for the motor field winding, which is responsible for creating the magnetic field needed for the motor to operate. This terminal is usually connected to a wire that goes to the motor's field winding, and it is essential for the motor to function properly.
      It's worth noting that the location of the "M" terminal can vary depending on the specific model and year of the EZGO TXT PDS. If you are unsure about the location of the "M" terminal on your golf cart, it is recommended that you consult the manufacturer's manual or seek assistance from a qualified technician.

    I have a 2003 electric club car 48 volt with a GE motor that I need to replace the speed sensor. With the wheel well off it is easy to replace the plastic cap, and that fixed it for a few months. Do I have to take the motor apart to replace the magnet? And will that fix it?

    •  9 месяцев назад

      This was an intermittent stopping issue, so I replaced the MCOR and that didn't fix it. I replaced solenoid also. The speed sensor fixed it totally for a few months until now the speed is intermittent. I've checked batteries but these Trojan batteries are 5 yrs. old. thank you, Chris

    • @GolfCartGarage
      @GolfCartGarage  9 месяцев назад

      Hello. If batteries are 5 years old then I would start there. There could be an issue with just one cell.

    •  8 месяцев назад

      Thank you. I had checked the batteries, each individually and getting around 8.5 on all 6. My next step will be to change the bearing that came with the speed sensor. I just hope I can get to the bearing through the wheel well without taking the GE motor out, which I think might be a nightmare.
