Thanks for the post, we programmed just as directed with the exception of high speed reverse (no change). Love the way the cart drives especially the coasting and top speed at 30mph. (i40L with lithium)
Thanks for posting this video about how to get the most from my new i40L Icon cart. I don’t understand most of what you said, so I'll share this info with my IT guy (my son). I'm wanting to be able to modify the coasting cycle and not have it brake while I'm just taking my foot off the "foot feed"! Yep, I'm pretty old. Edit: I've gone ahead and subscribed to you, so that I'll be able to find this post again, after I'm able to locate the programming cable. Thanks again!
Finally a good video on how to use the icon software. Thank you so much for the video. I'm tired of checking other forum posts just for me to be even more confused 10/10! Liked And Subbed. Very Well Deserved
Thanks a bunch. I was tired of the same thing. Just a bunch of fanboys jabbering on and on about nonsense. The internet needed a video like this one to just give the basic rundown on how to use it
Awesome video very helpful, i do have a question though. I am seeing some people say i need a specific CAN to USB converter. Does that apply to only certain year models?
Great video, this would taken me months of playing around! I am wondering what version of software are you running? I've also heard that you should have your cart's firmware updated prior to making any changes. What are your thoughts on that?
What is it on the I20 that governs the speed? Does the axle itself physically not go more than 27MPH? I can feel the thing braking on a downhill if it touches 27MPH. ppl with the old controller never seemed to have this issue so is the 14.1 axle new along with the new controller? I do have the cable and software and am grateful to have the aggressive regenerative braking off at least. This is my first golf cart and first EV so trying to understand how it works. I have to take the thing for 1yr maintenance should I reset it lol.
Our Screens look the same, but I have a Bintelli and you have an Icon. Under Speed Mode, I don't have SPR High Spd or SPR Low Spd, so I can't adjust the RPMs. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Great Video. Quick question about the EMB. Have heard stories about after upgrading to lithium, the rear brakes lock up (EMB) if you use power. Any changes help that?
I think that had to do with them getting a voltage spike in the ECU when switching over. I haven’t personally seen EMB issues on lithium conversions but I will research it
A/C motors can draw a lot of AMPS from your battery which requires a high quality lithium battery with a high AMP internal BMS. You will need a lithium battery that can handle 200 AMPS continuous at a minimum. Cheap lithium batteries from amazon or ebay a lot of times will only handle 100 AMPS continuous which under heavy load or high acceleration will cause the BMS to shut down which turns the battery off. If the battery shuts down the EMB will lock up. This can be very dangerous when traveling at high speeds. If you purchase a high quality lithium battery that is designed for a golf cart you wont have this problem.
Great video. Thanks. Did you ever get the following warning: DRIVE OR PROGRAM UPDATED. NEED TO UPDATE THE VIEWER! I can't make any changes as I keep getting that pop up.
Put your meter pulse per round to 4.4 that will match the actual speed your going to the speed showing on the cluster. The actual speed is about 2mph slower than what the car is showing on the screen
Question, having issues trying to load i60L up ramp into toy hauler. Cart bucks like crazy and have to turn key off to stop bucking. Any adjustments to smooth loading process?
That’s the EMB electro magnetic brake. You have to go faster. Don’t let the computer think you are slowing to a stop. Or you can adjust the engagement delay timing parameter in the EMB settings.
Hi, I got a 2023 I20 lithium. Cable is new CartCables and I have the Icon Live software. Tried connecting using the correct baud rate on the COM port. Connect button turns green but NO data from cart shows up. Any ideas? Windows 11.
do you have a lifted or non-lifted model? if it is non-lifted, you may have a gear ratio of 14-1 (you can check this by lookin at the sticker on the rear axle). If that is the case, even at the max 7000 rpm, you will only get to about 27mph max.
You are an absolute saint. Thank you for making this for everyone.

I too would like to have that link to the cable. Thanks for making this RUclips video.

Just like forscan. For a ford thanks for the video and unlocking the potential on these things.
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Hello, thanks for the video. Do you have any idea if this software will work the same for a 2024?
Great video, this would taken me months of playing around! I am wondering what version of software are you running? I've also heard that you should have your cart's firmware updated prior to making any changes. What are your thoughts on that?
Can you do one for a 2024 evolution d5 cart to increase the speed and stop the break assistance in the accelerator?

What version of Iconlive did you use for video? I have 3.04 which is NG! Thanks for info!
Can you adjust the lithium battery save mode via this software?
Appreciate you. Thanks.
Which controller does your cart have? Also, what settings for burnouts and wheelies? Lol

Thanks brother, much appreciated....that software is a nightmare to navigate....lol
Thanks for the details. Will you add the link to the cable?

Sorry - Lose power.

The baud rate for your computer port needs to be set at 38400
Hello - Do you know a safe site to get the Icon Live software for a MAC. Have a 2022 I60L. Already have the cable. Thanks
Any luck with finding the software for a Mac?
Thanks
Where can i get a copy of the software for a PC.

Why doesn’t my menu look like yours I have no restraint setting I have a 2023 cart
I keep getting a "Drive or program updated, need to reload this viewer!" warning on software and cannot progress. any suggestions?

Are you turning the key to on on your cart?
Yes and it connects (green) but no data show up in the softyware.
You need an eco tech tool to program the cars with lithium batteries maybe thats why?
Where is the link to the cord you bought?
From this seller: www.ebay.com/usr/cartcables
Does it work with a 2020 i60L? Or do you need different software?
2020 will have the neos controller. it is different software and cable but is also adjustable in similar manner.
My rpms are limited to 6600 which sets the max speed at 40kmh. Any idea how to adjust that?
do you have a lifted or non-lifted model? if it is non-lifted, you may have a gear ratio of 14-1 (you can check this by lookin at the sticker on the rear axle). If that is the case, even at the max 7000 rpm, you will only get to about 27mph max.
Anyone try this on advanced ev carts?
Can I contact you ?
Does anyone know why my software is telling me there in a file in the icon live data folder missing ? 302 file ?
older version of the software.
I bricked my cart. Can you send me a copy of your favorite tune?
Help not working
Why 53.3 ?? Whay not 50 or 40..
That’s the max setting. No idea why it’s like that but 53.3 is the default maximum value it will take. Lesser numbers offset the voltage logic.
It's 33MPH. I think that setting is in kilometers so it appears an odd number to US.
