Dr Tim had just released a brand new e-learning course that is 3D. It specifically focuses on safety and depth! drtimpearce.com/courses/8d-lip-design/ Kind regards Mary. Clinical advisor for Dr Tim
Unrelated to the video but... I finally figured out who you remind me of! Alexander Scarsgard! Yes. I've been trying to figure it out for a while. You resemble him far more than any of his actual brothers. Also, wonderful and informative video as always. Thanks!
I want to do a little tip defining, but I'm worry beacuse normally always I have very tiny blood vessels, and my tip.of my nose is always called which maybe indicates no good supply, so is in my case this will put me at greater risk of necrosis. Thanks, Hana
Always very informative. Miranda you rock, you clearly are very knowledgeable and confident, love the questions you ask, they are the same ones at the back of my mind as im watching the video. 💙
Dr. Pierce & Miranda, I love all of your informational videos-all fantastic, I learn so much! I plan to do some of the trainings on your website with my friend! Where is the link please to the download you mention at the end, where not to inject? Thank you!
Thank you so much! I love your explanations of anatomii and treatments 🌹. I wondered to share this video with my friends, but they use only polish language :( and this translation it is not included 😭
Omg . I have this i think from migrated filler, I’m talking about the tissue necrosis from being too superficial, it looks like a scar but is more like hollow or sunken skin, can i get anything done such as skin boosters to solve this ? Xx
thank you so much as always very helpful I have a question when I'm injecting the nasolabial folds for someone who has been injected many times it's always so think ans the needle doesn't blanch or move properly as I'm lifting the tissue so it's always hard to be sure where I am can you explain
I recently got Botox. When she was injecting in my forehead I could feel cold liquid touch my scalp and almost could feel cold liquid on my brain. I could hear it squishing. 😮 Is this normal ti happen cause it’s never happened before.
It comes easier with experience . But looking for the shape of the needle when you lift the needle under the skin. Being too superficial you can see the grey colour of the needle when it’s lifted. But descriptions in the earlier days can be likened to a broom under a sheet. A broom under the blanket and one under a duvet. Superficial, medium and deep. It comes with practice though. Kind regards Mary. Clinical advisor for Dr Tim
Yildiz how will you manage a skin Necrosis or intra arterial injection with potential lethal embolism ? Or emissary vein infection and cavernous sinus thrombosis from injection in the mid face triangle? You’re playing with fire …
The diagram seems to show that the skin is so thick but in actual fact it is just thin. Makes me wonder how injectors know where exactly, I mean which layer, they are actually injecting.
So basically hairdressers , physios and nurses pretty much shouldn’t be doing this as they have less or no medical competence to handle the complications. Necrosis , infections , abscesses … can even a good nurse handle an anaphylactic episode? Only a select few ….
It seems like you have something personal against nurses. Let me inform you the botox companies have nurse practioners that train mds to inject botox. Botox is not taught in medical school the nurses and md's are in the same training so get over it.
Hi Lisa. Thanks for the feedback. If you follow Tim on Instagram we upload short snippets of the main items discussed. Another option is to watch it at double speed which you can do by clicking on the 3 dots. Interestingly we have had people comment that the videos are too short, so I guess it's subjective. Thanks for commenting, Miranda
there are always 2 groups in an class, those who already know all this and the topic is to long and people like me, this is new to me, and i watch the video in one sitting several time, so i would not miss anything. And yes maybe next time just fast forward to what interest you. I would hate for Tim to shorten it and leave something important out that would be benificial to me.

How can one tell the depth? The skin is so thin
