My first concert as November 15, 1982 at Maple Leaf Gardens. Their first concert back home after breaking it huge on the American charts with "Subdivisions". I would give anything if anyone had any footage or recording from those three shows they played in a row at MLG. Tix were $12.50 for reds.
pretty good recording- they play it real slow Have you seen the video footage of Chemistry (and all the songs) from this tour by rollthefemers- it's way faster which seems unusual with Rush- they usually stick to a script for each tour- even the timing Signals was my first Rush show- It would be great if they whipped this one one next tour like they did digital man on SNA- one of my favorite Lifeson Solo's thanks
Of all the high production live concert tour videos by Rush, the Signals tour was never produced. I envy those who saw them live on this tour. I saw them at the Tacoma Dome in 1984 during the Grace Under Pressure tour, which was chaotic. Members of the audience were throwing glow sticks at the band, and fights broke out in the crowd. Geddy Lee had to stop play due to the violence. It was memorable, but not in a good way.
@Dogapsa Alex didn't start using signatures until part way through the power windows tour, maybe even just before hold your fire, he had strats and was still using a few gibsons here i think
Do you have anything from the second night at Nassau Coliseum Dec 9th 1982? I believe this one is from the 8th. The 9th was my first concert, so I'm curious about bootlegs from it.

My first Rush concert, December 5, 1982...so glad I got to see the final tour - with Neil playing the "classic drumkit" for the last time
some say this song is "oversynthed" I say it's just right synthed.

Would have loved this to have been on R30, the power of that show on the DVD with this song would have worked I think!
never know, could be on the upcoming "R41" tour! I figure they'll play that, Turn The Page, and something like Xanadu.
