I am still very happy with my Gen 3. I don't use spaddle bits so I never pull on the bits - so I have never had a bit come out accidentally. The Gen 3 has plenty of power to remove the lug nuts on every car I have tried it on - and does it faster than my Kobalt 750 ft lbs air impact wrench, drills holes faster than my Bosch drill, and throws screws into anything like butter. I broke a Milwaukee hex to 1/2" socket adapter in about 5 minutes with the Gen 3 so it may be difficult finding an adapter that can handle the torque from the Gen 4!! Might have to get one made of solid titanium or graphene infused or something... I can't imagine how crazy the Gen 4 will be... Can't wait to see it in the TTR!!! Keep up the great work! VERY COOL!!!

Not sure if people know yet. But I noticed the other day 2 things about newer Milwaukee drill bit sets at least at home depot.
    1. They have a new quad blade bit the packaging states. But also even with the exact same part number. So far I noticed on the 15 and 23 piece sets both cobalt and titanium.... that they no longer include the ½" bit. If you see one out there. And you need ½" ... the time to buy is now.

Nice video Vince,!i like your analysis and presentation. Like an industry analyst. We have been waiting for the collect issue to be fixed. It just remains to see how high a bar that Milwaulkie will currently consider 'fixed' to be good enough. Hopefully they will have wanted to try and exceed the current status quo and also my own admittedly pretty high expectations. I also hope the other innovations of the main gen4 impact will trickle down into their hydraulic version. Noise levels being what they are for impacts. Plus anyway even the current 167 ft-lbs is already plenty enough to snap the shank on 1/4 inch hex bits or adapters. Looking forward to seeing it Vince coming up soon in your next videos.

Koon Trucking did an impact test with the 1/4” drivers. That gen 3 hit 260ft lbs before shearing 3/8” adapters. Though it’s not designed to be an impact wrench, the power from the gen 3 is amazing to say the least. Love the light setups on the new products but I feel the battery on an m18 would prevent me from getting to spots that I can with the 3/8 m12 stubby with a compact battery. Ya can’t go wrong with Milwaukee power. The only company to hit or exceed torque ratings that are printed on the box!! Happy Sunday Vince and Vcg tool cool gang 🇺🇸

Not sure if I missed it or not but is this 1/4” or 1/2” drive? 🤔

I wish they had a combo builder where you could add your own choices then it would give you a tiered volume discount as you keep piling them on. That would tempt me to buy all the tools I want now vs slowly piecing together the collection.

I like the new triple led light, but the skil halo light is still my favor for an impact driver.

I had the trigger issues with my gen 3 hammer drill (that you displayed in a previous video). Sent it to get fixed and it’s still just as bad after they replaced the trigger. No excuse for that Milwaukee!

What was Milwaukee thinking with Makita's new xwt14&15 already released?

Hi guys, thanx for the video, love the channel. How do you think the gen 4 will compete against the new 40 volt line of Makita? Here in the Netherlands the 40v tools are available for a few months now and Makita says it does not replace their own 18v line, but it is clearly aiming to be the most powerful tool line. What are your thoughts, is Makita overdoing it with the 40 volt line, or does Milwaukee face some fierce competition.

Well the m12 3/8" stubby is supposed to have 250 foot lbs of breakaway torque.

That was exactly my thought. I own the gen 2 m12 impact driver and the m12 3/8 impact wrench and it says in the box up to 250 ft lbs of torque. So what gives Milwaukee?

I think they're releasing a Gen 2 Surge, with the power of the Gen 3.

Sigh... you don't mention or list model numbers. Makes figuring out which tool to get frustrating

What they need is better warranty, bought 2 batteries last year and they didn't want to charge anymore. They said i couldn't do a warranty on them because they're more than a year old.

Most of my milwaukee Cordless tools have one key.... do they make this with the one key and if not are they going to, because I'd want for that model instead of buying this twice, I truly believe in the one key system because it truly works....
