Boost Thanks. The next step on my build is the exhaust but I like the quite. Thank You for showing it is OK to keep the stock muffler. I am 67, 2017 brown q50, AMS intercooler, BOV, catch can, JB4. I am working on my sleeper image.

Love it bro, I thought the same. With a loud exhaust it draws too much attention and its easier to tell when someone is speeding
I got a 3.7 and added a catback last year and didn't liked it, way too loud. Now I'm back to stock catback but changed the cats for HFC and man it is way better, sounds throaty without the rumble/drone. Should have done this before.

when I had my turbo CRX I ran a quiet muffler and rerouted my wastegate dump into the downpipe, i liked it way better because I was able to hear the turbo spool..

Boost In Motion They call it the Y Pipe exhaust. It shows the mid and y pipe. I wanted to make sure it’s the whole thing. That’s less than half of the price of the Tanabe. Thanks Boost. My thoughts on the Red Sport is, LDP, Y/Mid, Stock exhaust, Performance filters only, Burger/Frozen HE, BTuned dyno tune and be a nice little sleeper for South Florida with all the exotic cars. At least get a little respect lol.

Hey boost take a look at the Granatelli’s exhaust cut outs they’re designed not to leak in the motors are very well designed to last a long time
Mine cracked during install so I was able to weld it at that time. All the welds do need some paint on the rear muffler to keep corroded down. Good video. Thx

Had Evo X 3" exhaust with magnflow quiet sleeper muffler you could hear tubo, BOV and intake sucking the air - beautiful combo where you can appreciate the amazing sound. Also Lexus ISF - most intoxicating inatke noise ever! - Despite the fact it has very unique V8 soiundtack It is a crime to put exhasut on car of this calliber due to the sound of intake, just second cats delete for exhaust do perfection or cutouts on demand. Exhasut noise don't make cars louder - more air and fuel do. you can still free up exhaust without going loud.
I haven’t pulled the trigger on a catback bc none of them sound clean enough for me. Might have to think about this route. Do you think it’ll sound a little different without the resonators you added?
Its a sleeper now. Let us know how it runs with the tune now. Because I'm looking to tune blow off valve.

I did muffler delete sound quite unless you get on it but i think the car also has a fake exhaust noise from inside the car

Hey boost why don’t you put electric cut outs on the exhaust so when you are racing it you can have open exhaust
Reliability wise the motors fail over time and you develop exhaust leaks from the flaps

Already try 4 different axe back so far,to me none sounds nice because this transmission going at 25mph at fifth gear 🤷🏻♂️or maybe it’s me this is my first automatic car.

🗿 stock muffler will definitely will be a restriction with upgraded turbos, you will actually loose lots of power and torque.
we will see i can add a muffler delete if need be

At the current moment they'll be OEM replacement turbos with better compressor Wheels. One will be from rttuning the next will be from pure turbos

I have 2018 lux and was thinking of putting on LDP but I don’t want the quietness to change. Would LDP make any difference in sound?
Hey man. It depends what lower downpipe you have. I have ams lower downpipe. Check my videos for sound. I have lower downpipe and remark muffler delete on mine. Cold start, it can be loud. Not loud as others in the video. Once your car warms up and drive it for a while, it's quiet. On the highway with my cruise control on, it's so quiet. It's a sleeper when I normally accelerate it unless I hit it.

Big Bully Downpipe can void your warranty so yes. Catback Exhaust is okay, but downpipes with no catalytic converters won’t be covered. You can get high performance downpipes that still have them, but some will still fight you about it
Copy that, so basically if anything under warranty should fail I should remove the down pipes before I bring it in for service? lets say I go in for an oil change and maintenance check, will they flag me if they see the lower down pipes on the lift and threaten to void the car's warranty if I don't remove them?
