I bought mine on clearance at the local farm and fleet store for about $89. Did not like the scope so I put a CV Life 3-9 x 40 scope on it and it is working just fine. First trials with the gun produced patterns, like a shot gun, not groups. Thought it was the scope, but same thing with open sights. Discovered that the pivot screws were loose. Gently tightened them up and now I get excellent accuracy out of this rifle.

They are good small game rifles also and a good way to shoot economically. Thanks for watching

Back in the 60's my first pellet gun was a smooth bore Daisy single stroke air gun, not a springer. Best air rifle I ever owned was a .22 caliber Crosman pump. It got broken, something in closet fell on it and broke it at the pivot joint. Now, my best springer is a Hatsan model 95 in .177.

Wow, I'm surprised at the penetration with those pointed pellets.

Yep those pointed pellets are are no joke. They do a good job on small game like rabbits & squirrels and such. If you were in a SHTF situation and need to hunt quite like they would be just the thing. Thanks for watching
