"One" is a terrific reference song to play when testing speakers and headphones you're looking to buy. If they can't handle the quiet/hard /guitars and deep bass without sounding like crap, don't buy them.

@1:51 "I feel like, a year ago, I really just didn't appreciate it how I'm gonna appreciate it now." Preston, there is a difference between passive listening and active listening. Early on in your journey, through no fault of your own, you were confined to passive listening, where you only listened to appreciate the "How?" aspect of it, the method of getting from Point A to Point B. Now, through all the different genres you've allowed into your knowledge bank, you've started to listen actively, finding the "Why?" in the music, the "It-Factor" in the song, the reason why it fits into the web of music. Growth, as a person, can be boiled down to understanding "why" the world around us is the way it is, rather than simply understanding "how" the world is. Now, I don't know you outside of these videos, so I can only speak for what I see, but it seems as though you've learned how to turn off the part of your brain that produces self-conscious thoughts. If you're brought to tears by a song, cry. If the song you've got on makes you want to rage, be constructive about it, but rage. If the song makes you understand life better, keep it close, and use it when the need arises, because it will. I feel as though you understand this ten-thousand times better than you did when you started. I've said it before but watching your videos re-ignites my passion to do the things I want to do. I wish the absolute best for you in everything you do, from here forward, my friend.
I agree. Always felt the movie clips and audio cover/distract too much from the music. I like the video, but only after you are well versed in the song already.

@@northerner8967 Why it doesn't matter in my opinion: Metallica has some songs where bass is important, like Orion, From Whom The Bell Tolls, Anesthesia, My Friend Of Misery, The God That Failed, The Call Of Ktulu, etc... Some bands actually use bass as a true and independant instrument, like Tool, Iron Maiden, or NeObliviscaris. But in a lot of their songs, Metallica don't use bass as an instrument that truly provides something, so it doesn't matter for me that it's absent of AJFA, as it's already pretty much absent on most of their songs. It's just the icing on the cake, you don't need it to make a good cake. And AJFA is Metallica's best cake for me. It would have been better with bass, but it doesn't need it to be, to me, at least as good as MOP & RTL

Live in Moscow. I’ve been asking for it for months now on most every video he’s done. I’ve all but given up on him ever doing it. He doesn’t know what he’s missing.
@@zachcampbell3229 one of the best metal performance in history
Pantera are great, but I don't listen to them now that I know the singer is a massive white supermacist asshole.
Yeah just the live version the studio version doesn’t do it justice
Creeping Death and Fight Fire With Fire from the RTL album
YOU MY FRIEND ARE THE BEST!!!! I enjoy watching you enjoy music soooo much! TY TY TY
I think the fact that you keep finding brand new greatest Metallica songs completely sums up the experience for long time fans. There are countless best Metallica songs. I’m still discovering new ones after 30 years.
Dude!!! Creeping death LIVE! it must be LIVE!!! greetings from ARGENTINA
you've hardly scratched the surfice of Metalica, please continue the hard work!
Preston, you should do “Say hello 2 heaven” by Temple of the dog... you’re going to love it
Marc-André Le Tissier I second that, god PLEASE
*Live at Moore theater 1990*
That is a very special song indeed. And given his reaction to Hunger Strike, this will be a winner as well.
00bassmaster00 no, studio is more powerful.
Yes!! Anything Chris Cornell is awesome
I remember your first reaction video to this song, and it was what made me subscribe. I loved (still do) your enthusiasm.
I love different reactors for different reasons.
Comedy: No Life
Production: LiV
Integrity: KTF!
Your spot on expressions validate exactly what I have always felt about alot of the music I find on this channel. Say more with a look to the camera than what most attempt to articulate with a bunch of words.
Keep up the good work!
I love how Pressssston is SHOUTING at us like he's at a Metallica live show!!!!
Do Creeping Death. I don't know if you have already. But if so. Redo it also. Plus if you really want to hear it. Get some good headphones. Ear buds doesn't do any music justice.
Creeping Death is their best song....hands down......
My personal favorite Metallica song. Good luck getting him to do it. I’ve tried to get him to do Pantera Domination live in Moscow, and still no luck.
I agree. He should do both of their live concert in Moscow from 1991. They had like 1.6 million ppl there. Plus I heard ppl died. It was crazy
I don't always listen to metallica.... But when i do, So do my neighbors!! RIP neighbors
This video was so dope brother can’t put it into words how happy it made me to see someone else with such a diverse range in music taste listening to this and other completely different genres getting it like you do keep on doing your thing brother 🤘
To go back and revisit is the best. You never stop impressing me in the way you do you.
Metallica: "Whiplash", "Justice For All"
Heart: "Barracuda", "Magic Man", "Crazy On You", "Alone"
Lynyrd Skynyrd: "Free Bird", "Give Me Three Steps"
Johnny Cash: "God's Gonna Cut You Down", "Cocaine Blues"
Creeping Death live from Moscow 91, Seattle 89, or San Diego 92 are all a must listen.
Michael McDermott fuck yeah🤘🏻

The American dream.....Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Metallica's music. Welcome to the club Pres

Love that you're going back to truly appreciate it ✊🏼🖤

Orion still is my fave
Metallica - Creeping Death (with lyrics).
I'd suggest you listen to the album version first. Only after that, then you can see their live performance of the song.
Absolutely agreed! It annoys me when people are pushing the certainly energy-filled but also messy and unclear live versions to people who aren't familiar with the songs!
Preaton, this is so cool, going back and revisiting. You've definitely become a music connoisseur.
Bro! When I saw your original reaction to this song, (Which was my first time seeing a black dude watch metal), I knew then that you needed to "grow" in this genre to have an accurate grasp of it. Then you said it here.
You were the very first black reaction channel I ever saw. You're still my favorite. Keep it going dawg!
If you wanna be taken on a musical ride listen to Bleeding Me by Metallica. It’s a must listen
it really is a spectacular song. i agree
Dude, you have barely scratched 1% of Metallica's catalog :)
Before you go back and re listen, go deeper down the rabbit hole!
There is nothing better than seeing this live! March 2019 Lubbock,Tx!
It's nice to see this kind of stuff , new people who's like the really music , I admire you bro and I'm 37 years old
Dyers Eve
Damage Inc
The Thing That Should Not Be
Leper Messiah
Those are 4 straight bangers I like you
3 of my 4 favorite Metallica songs. We would be friends
I gotta go with Dyers Eve with this list but they are all good.
Had almost forgotten about leppar mesiah. 👍👍 Had to give that 2 thumbs up there.
Disposable Heroes, Dyers Eve, Damage Inc, Creeping Death
...and justice for all is my favorite album of theirs
Ozzy Osbourne - Diary of a Madman
Been watching your Metallica reaction vids for years! I think you're ready for Harvester of Sorrow and Lepper Messiah! I have loved Metallica for almost thirty years and I am amazed how I still discover new love for their work every time I listen to them.
One is legendary. The video is epic af. Respect to your reactions, bruh. Where you been at??
Creeping death, disposable heroes, the god that failed, and justice for all, harvester of sorrow, blackened, dyers eve, so what, no leaf clover, and the whole s and m symphony concert! Through the never, god the list just goes on and on. Just like the show must go on by queen, another MUST HEAR.
He did Disposable!! Its the shit
REACT TO THIS LOVE - PANTERA OFFICIAL VIDEO!
Best. Band. Ever.
That being said, no Metallica journey is complete without listening to Blackened; a song so good they named their whiskey after it (go get it and drink it). After that though...give the new Metallica some love. React to Moth Into Flame, Atlas Rise, Halo On Fire, or Spit Out The Bone from the new album. Then go see them live and lose your mind.
Peace!
@@maxotto9877 I respect that. I love Megadeth and Tool, but I prefer Metallica.
As much as you think you have grown, your journey is just starting and in 5 years your view will change. Love the vids bro! It's great to see you experiencing this music as new. How's the guitar coming?
I'm glad you chose to redo this reaction to the lyric video it pains me to see people react to the official video because it takes away from the song. In Justice for All is probably the most underrated album still my favorite.
