Just brought home a '23 black Low Rider S. Never rode a Harley, but felt it was time. Love my Z900's and VStrom, but even stock, this bike has a raw feel and lets you know your riding a motorcycle. If I was to mod it, I would go with the 131 kit. 150 hp, 150 torque. I have the same pipe ,but black and it looks better than most and sets off car alarms. Even dogs start barking when I go by. Love this thing. My other bikes are going to have a long rest. Excelent vid. Love your enthusiasm.
I have a lowrider st with a 132 in it and it's 150+ hp/tq at the tire and it's an absolute weapon on the road. I ride really calm for the most part but when another bike wants to play 99% of the time I issue a beating 😅. Light to light is where the fun is.
Love the club style!!! I had a dyna for a good while and that ride was my favorite. Now, upgraded to a bagger but the "obsession" to modify and out perform my old bike always comes to mind. It's a great feeling to chop/ chop while seating there.
That this seems like a monster! I was in the same boat. Pure sportbike starting out. Had a zx14r. Switched over to a MT10 for something lighter and fun. The crossplane is just a pure gem…. Picked up a streetbob and the modding began. Mine is no where near that monster. But HD just has that “feeling”. Expecially after a couple mods. Side note… can’t wait to see what that r1 is like on a BT tune! I know your getting it ASAP!
Sadly not all Harleys are like goldzilla. I ride a Iron 883 and its perfect for me because if I get a bigger bike it'll be heavier but would still love one. My iron is modified but not engine modified. Club style performance Harleys are awsome! You should get one and build it to your preference.
I just had stage 3 - (96 CI to 103 CI, with screamin eagle echo cam, and Bassani 2 to 1 exhaust) put into my street Bob last year and it is definitely a huge difference in performance. Wish I had spent another $600-800 though and went with the 110 CI kit though. Right now I'm sitting at around 95 HP and 105 pound/feet torque. With the 110 kit it probably would've bumped each of those values up by another 10-15. So, word of advice... If you're gonna drop thousands into a kit just wait longer and save up to go to stage 4. Go all or nothing. It's only a little bit more money to add it all at once. It's when you do it bit by bit that that labor cost kills you.
There’s something to be said about a fast Harley. I have a 2016 streetbob that started life as a 75hp turd. Started with cams oil pump, adjustable pushrods, springs and rockers, fab28 exhaust, and air intake. Then installed the 110 big bore kit, high compression forged pistons, ported heads, larger throttle body, and tuner. The last mod I installed last year was a trash turbo kit, and swapped out my high compression pistons for lower compression pistons, due to needing high octane race gas with the high compression setup. Needless to say, I literally haven’t raced another Harley that can stay with me. I will say that I haven’t met anyone with the 131 that wasn’t in a bagger. So I’d be interested to see how my 110 stands up to the 131 in a low rider frame. I couldn’t imagine having any more power in these bikes because my 150lb body can’t keep the front wheel on the ground while accelerating through the gears. I’m in down in Daytona Beach, so if blockhead ever comes out this way, it’d be great to do a comparison/drag race. 😁
I just picked up a 2016 street Bob and I too want to modify it to get max performance out of her, would love to pick your brain and see where the best place to start is
I’ve been waiting for this for so long but worth the wait! Not sure if it’s your mic or that you ride it more aggressively? But that sounded great! You could even hear the intake sucking in air. It’s funny I had commented on that video of the 883 just saying to ride a new softail because it’s a better experience. You said ok I’ll ride one with a 50% power increase😂 You can lean them. I toss my softail standard around pretty hard and crack the throttle mid turn. It’s just the power of his bike is too much, even with the stickier tire. If it was mine I’d be doing it anyway because I like that feeling, but definitely not taking that risk on someone else’s that’s double the cost into it than mine lol.
That thing goes exceptionally well. I think your will get used to it then you'll be able to put a good tune into it and see how good it really goes. Have Fun

131 in a lowroder?
Fantastic looking and Sounding Piece Of Machinery.
Pipe sounds great on acceleration. Not a fan of decel pop.
How does the power feel compared to something like the MT09? I have an R6 and an XSR900, but have been wanting a high HP Harley.
Completely different experience. My buddy has a 131 kit in his low rider with other mods. And where the mt09 is like seamless speed Harleys are like brute torque. And you really feel the speed on them because they really aren’t made to do things like the mt09. It’s a shitload of fun. How do you like the xsr? Really want one but the new mt09 is calling my name. I wonder if they will refresh the xsr next year with the mt10
MT09 is like a finely tuned modern sports car. Goldzilla is like a 70's era American muscle car.
@@joshmaag2457 Thanks, dude. I love the XSR! The seat is a little stiff, but the riding position is great and I love how it produces power. Plenty of power for me without being overkill. I do hope they refresh the XSR line up. Would hate to see them go away, but I don't see many on the road, so who knows.
@@BlockheadMoto Thanks, bro.
Hell yeah this video was awesome 🤘
That’s a nice Harley
Blockhead himself said that sport bikes are refined machines, fast Harleys are raw Machines, no rider modes or anything helping you out just you and the bike
I love my performance Harley, you should test ride a VMax
That moment when you can't tell how fast you're going because the speedo stopped moving 🤣
