It’s not top heavy , the engine means it’s got a low centre of gravity
Top heavy? I've always heard boxer engines were not top heavy because main weight of the engine is carried down low.
You are Right , Not „top Heavy“ at all. Idk Why this was Said in the Video , just wrong. And the Comment from Cali moto , yes is heavy, but its irrelevant on this bike.
Sir which is the best in BMW R nineT Scrambler , BMW R nineT and BMW R nineT Pure?
Nice Review Dude..
Just a comparison between the Rnine T and this one... Which would u recommend? I like the classic look of the Rnine T but I am also torn with the advance safety features of the R 1250R like the Dynamic Pro Features and Keyless..
Hope u can help me on my next purchase soon. Appreciate Ur Help🙏❤️
@@CaliMotoTV thanks a lot Dude. More Power to Ur channel 👍🥂
whats the bike to the left of him in the beginning?
Have you tested the RS version?
What would you take RS, R or GS?
Cali Moto TV perfect! 🤙
Thanks for the review. I have been thinking about this bike off and on for some time. I wanted one years ago when I think it was a R 1100 R. I see this video was made some time ago so do you know if the R 1250 R 2021 will have any updates to it and be different? Can you change the muffler out for something that looks better without hurting performance or affecting the warranty? Did you prefer the RS version over the R 1250 R? Thanks
@@CaliMotoTV do you know when you will get the R 2021 R in at your dealership? Thanks
@@CaliMotoTV Thanks! I will stay tuned for any updates and future reviews! I really enjoy your insights and passion for motorcycles.
Nice looking bike. Not a fan of the big screen tv display, or the headlight. And that exhaust can, holy hell what's that all about? Then again, I had a 2012 R1200R for four years and to me, it was perfect in every way.
@@CaliMotoTV you've got a good point there
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I would still pick up that Red Beauty lurking from behind!!!!!
#multistrada Forever!!!
Ducati Scrambler Cafe Racer!!
There’s no comparing the S1000RR and the naturally torquey boxer motor. “Right outta the box” it has more power. Huh? Do you mean at low rpms? Yes - naturally. This attribute has little to do with ShiftCam VVT. Also you should show the settings screen while parked not doing 50mph lol. Otherwise good review and that low seat option on this bike is really unnecessary right.
Ride an RnineT then jump on the R or RS and you’ll discover the difference between an obsolete “retro” fashion statement and something that’s evolved into a state of the art “heritage” motorcycle. Good for BMW to know there’s a diverse consumer base out there! For me . . . it’s the R or RS over all other Boxers, but I can see the appeal of them all . . .
Cali Moto TV: Perhaps “obsolete” is a tad harsh; I’ve been contemplating buying a R nine T (there are some great deals out there) but I can’t buy an RS too, so I’m conflicted. I owned an RT Airhead and put 160 000 kilometers on it, the first hundred thousand was trouble free, the last 20 000 was full of small problems that cost me a fortune to repair (not the parts, the labor). Compared to my other Japanese and even Italian bikes, the cost of owning a BMW was higher . . . much higher, which is part of the reason I remain conflicted. Functionally, the RS is very appealing and full of character while aesthetically, the R nine T is appealing. I guess if BMW gets you choosing between two models they’re doing something right!
Hey Bill. I know this is one of your old reviews but hoping you receive my comment anyway. A&S is in Roseville. I understand that viewers may know where Sacramento is and not Roseville, but....
When I first came across your videos I thought you were this other dude calmoto that I used to watch ripping on BMW bikes and giving his take on them. You're cool too 👍
How do you find the ground clearance? You think is dangerous in track days?
RUclips R1250R vs S1000R on a race track ... same time per lap lol
You can always put an Akropovich on the 1250R. The 1250RS is a tad heavier, and you sit leaned a little more forward in it. Taller, heavier guy = 1250RS, not so much = 1250R.
@@CaliMotoTV Looking forward to the RS review!
It's a YMMV thing, but I'm 6'2.5" / 275lbs and the RS is fine for me, fit-wise. I am a little longer in my torso than my legs, so that might make a difference. When I bought mine, another guy over 6 feet bought one too and he was fine on his. I wouldn't rule it out.
When you call quick shifter, speed shifter. Smh
Sir can you tell me which motorbike is better BMW r 1250 r or BMW f 900 r
Thanks a lot sir
143 nm on the R1250R…
sir u should have changed the silencer
Who cares about the exhaust? It is fine.
