BUILD // Making a Cine Rig for a Gimbal - SONY ALPHA 7 III

- I've always loved the idea of a cine rig, and very much enjoyed the look of handheld. However since owning a gimbal, I've wanted to find a good way to go from smooth shots to more run and gun as smoothly as possible...today's the day we make that happen!

Ahhhhh thanks man, means a lot!!
Brilliant this, rig looks awesome!
Rig is looking epic! Super helpful guide I will be looking to when I can get my hands on the RS2 with my Sony A7iii rig 😊 Cracking up at the banter with Sam too 😂 nice job guys!
Glad it was of help dude, appreciate the support!!!
Great video, this is exactly the video I was looking for to get ideas
Glad I could be of help my dude!!!
Love this rig my guy - killing it!
Appreciate the help my dude x
Impressive rig
Great video :)
Thanks so much man!!
I'm still using A7iii as well! Cool setup
Amazing little thing isn't it!!
😍😍😍😍
It looks very nice. Great rig. I am interested to see how much the whole setup weighs and how easy or hard it was to balace the gimbal?
So all in all it weighs about 11 pounds, and it's fairly easy to hold, especially with the briefcase handle. As for balancing, its accommodating for such a hefty setup and after a couple attempts its very easy to balance!!!
This rig look super dope ! I was researching some inspiration for my next fresh rig ! Btw your amazon link is down
Glad you like it dude!! And thanks for letting me know🙌🏻
in the video you are talking about putting a link about the cage in the description ?! where is it !
Apologies dude, here you go!! : www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/3SZE1Q8M10RVK?ref_=wl_dp_view_your_list
Now I wanna see how you balance it I have the dji rs3. My cam only has the cage and the side grip and mic. but balancing seems to be hell
Haha well the setup has changed quite a bit since then, probably should do an updated video but essentially I don't use the Mattebox anymore, still great bit of kit but wanted to make everything smaller!
Hey man, great video, can I ask where you got that side handle grip you had on your canon 60d?
Cheers dude! And I got the handle from Amazon, called the "UURig R043 Universal DSLR ILDC Camera Side Handle Left Hand Grip". However, can't find it anymore on Amazon so best bet might be SmallRig's version Part 2786!!
@@flintandsteel98 thank you so much man!
Hey ! I’m curious to know which camera did u film this tutorial with ?
Hi there!! So the main angle was shot on the Sony A7IV with a Sigma 35 f/1.4, where as the second angle was with a Sony A7III 85 f/1.4👌🏻
@@flintandsteel98 thanks for answering
