    Not so much to draw out moisture, but water boils in a vacuum. Awesome stuff man. It's the small details people usually skip over. Keep it up

    a little late but thank you for being a real mechanic and making an actual informative video on this process. Most will not show all the little things. 100% the best how to ever!

      @@hardlymovingpro where is the port location for a chevy 1994 k1500 is it the same spout you would put freon into. I just put a new compressor and also need to flush the system. Also how much did it cost to properly recharge your system

    • @hardlymovingpro
      @hardlymovingpro  4 года назад

      @@gt8432 The high and low pressure port connection should be sitting on top of the compressor ... from my recollection. If you want to flush the system, you do that before you put on the new compressor ... unless the lines have not been collected to the compressor. An evacuation and re-charge of you system will vary based on the amount of R134a that the system needs. I'd say somewhere between $125 - $200 on a professional machine.

      @@hardlymovingpro question tho i never put the sensor on the compressor yet only the clutch harness was hooked up. For 94 chevy you have to put the sensor on seperate and you have to attach to compressor.

    • @hardlymovingpro

      1 to 1.5 oz for each component replaced. If freon leaked out with oil, add 1 oz.
