    This color does look much better in person!!! Another great and very comprehensive review from our sweet buds at Car Confections. My first new truck was a 1986 Toyota standard cab 5 speed that I bought after basic training and technical school in Colorado enroute to my first duty station for the USAF . I drove the heck out of that truck. Always doing burnouts and abusing it as a young dumb kid. It never gave me any problems and was always fun to drive. Tacoma trucks hold their value exceedingly well and the newer ones are very comfortable too. Thank you guys for this review. Makes me want another one !

    Very nice review! I'm older and spent a LOT of time reviewing/comparing/driving the Ford, Chevy and Toyota. I ended up (2 weeks ago today) buying a new 2019 TRD Off Road Double Cab (5' Bed) in Calvary Blue. We have a horse farm - on a river - so I'll USE the 4WD/Off road capabilities of this little truck. I may be one of the few that likes the absence of things like power seats...All my other vehicles have power seats and I rarely use that feature and it is just something else to break. The truck is simple - other than the radio - I'd prefer not having the 7" screen. I do appreciate the video - I'm watching a lot as the owners manual is never going to get out of the package.

    Can you do the ford ranger and honda ridgeline please? I know i know ridgeline get a lot of hate but I am talking about non off road comfortability. I live in a city, will never go off roading I just need the utility of a truck and yes I do consider a minivan also for utility.

    • @thestig007
      @thestig007 5 лет назад

      LOL do not buy a Ridgeline. There is no point. If you don't offroad, don't buy a Tacoma or Ranger. You are wasting your money. Buy a minivan or SUV. Trucks are expensive because they can tow and go off road. If you don't need either of those things, don't buy a truck.

    I wonder how many people opt for the 4 cyl...the v6 is underpowered itself.

    • @spacebear49
      @spacebear49 4 года назад

      The V6 doesn't lack power. The issue is the transmission gearing. It could have more, sure. But drive it with a stick and you'll feel the difference. And in most models, you CAN'T opt for the 4 cyl. It's only in the base model.
