New 2024 Nissan X-Trail Flagship Mid-Size SUV

The total output of the X-Trail's electric dual motor system is 157 kW (213 hp). The power of the front engine is 150 kW (330 Nm torque) and the rear engine 100 kW (195 Nm torque). This enables acceleration from 0-100 km/h in 7 seconds.
The e-4ORCE system uses the battery as a power source for two electric motors. With e-4ORCE, torque is distributed between the front and rear axles to maximize tire grip depending on the road surface, conditions and vehicle situation, while braking is individually controlled for each of the four wheels. Thanks to this, the vehicle maintains control regardless of the weather, whether the road is wet, icy or snowy.
It is easy for the driver to stay on the desired driving line, and the car can ensure control and prevent, for example, over- or under-steering.
The grip is ensured by a balanced power distribution that can be adjusted with an accuracy of 1/10,000 of a second, which is significantly faster than any mechanical four-wheel drive system.
Tilt control ensures a comfortable journey when the car's body remains stable during braking and acceleration.
Leaning is dampened by controlling the regenerative braking force and the balance between the front and rear axles. The dual motor system also means better recovery of braking energy.
