The Only Exception for buying a 2nd truck at this point in time, is to have that truck as a BACK UP TRUCK for your PERSONAL USAGE!!! Out of ALL of the RUclipsrs that have made Box truck videos,I have only seen 1 RUclipsr that had a second truck for use as a Back up truck, the rest of those Guys got these second trucks with the sole intentions of making more money by taking on to much debt and responsibilities while trying to maintain the responsibility of their personal truck... Bad move... A lot of them are back to one truck now,or they are completely out of the trucking business altogether now.... Don't let that happen to you!!
Facts bro. I did the same .
Can you let me know the names of the channels?
Hey bro, thanks for your video, drive safe
Proud of you young brother keep going
Thank you so much! All your content has checked out to be true, I appreciate the Info and inspiration.
Your doing it the right way,I’m retired 42 years in big truck. I started doing heavy wrecker because there weren’t schools really then. Now you can graduate up into the kind of trucking you enjoy. You have the exp. of how to unload, how to do paperwork.
Respect your Grind Bro 💯
thanks for the update trying to get my truck as well.
MAD COOL VLOG BRO.. great insight 🧐👍
Much respect and I appreciate the honest truth. It's not meant to discourage but to show what can happen and how to navigate through it. Nothing comes easy but staying consistent is the key. Keep grindin' 💯
Dope content brother preciate it. Stay active and stay at it. Congratulations on making it through 6 months. Much success. Much love.
Thank You 🙏🏽
Getting ready to get into box truck bro great info. Thinking bout some other possibilities too.
Peace bro ! Congrats on 6 months 💪🏽 during these times that's a big flex.
I got into the game last year the rental route ! Didn't last long not only because of rates of rental, fuel, etc but mainly because of a screwed up business partner. I learned a lot in a short time tho and currently getting ready to launch again als a 100% owner. I appreciate your content on the strength of how real you keep it ! Would def like to chop it up sum more about this journey 💯
Hey, did you start yet? I'm looking to get in the game myself. I just got the truck, shopping for insurance now. I need advice and a new owner operator.

Im trying to get started with box truck but Amazon relay ask for DOT at least if 180 days. Does anyone have the same issue?
How did you get amazon relay starting out? It says authority has to be 180 days old.
does amazon rely or any company that finds loads for you like roadie or go share etc... if your a felon and are a box truck owner with a cdl and have all your permits, insurance on hand can these company's give you work???
So my thing is you said Atlanta is overstaurated. Is it even worth stating up
Whats up with the cargo van?
I don’t giggle apps pretty similar to what you do
Great content! Do you recommend any dealerships that sell Box trucks?
Ryder And Peneske Their Truck Have Maintenance Records
I was waiting to hear numbers
Appreciate you.. do you only use Arnold Dispatching..? Or do you just sponsor them..
Wats up brother may I ask the name of the company yu got a contract with I’ll like to take sum of them otr loads
What's up yo? I want to know if it gives you any type of credence with these brokers if you have previous 18 wheeler and box truck experience? Not running my own authority, but yes of driving and delivery experience.
Brokers Are Looking To Keep Almost All The Money In Their Pockets No Matter The Experience
Qb! ❤️
Business still going strong? I'm thinking about getting a truck
Does Amazon pay daily?
U got a detroit 60 engine?
What's some advice you can give me starting fresh with my box truck for some work
Get on sylectus not DAT
I’m doing hot shot and I got my cdl but my main thing is I want to be local and overall it’s not too profitable being local with a 40ft trailer wit todays market and how brokers are. Would you suggest me going the box truck route?
If You Want To Be Local Get A Box Truck. It's Way Easier To Find Local Routes
Hey, I have about 6 months driving cdl a otr, I’m looking to get into box trucks too, have you gotten your foot in yet? Any advice?
don’t waste your time with the cargo van BS.. it’s terrible over here. i’m checking you out cause i’m trying to be local and be off that OTR.
What's the name of the company?
Im gonna ruffle some feathers in cargo van business 😂😂🤦🏿♂️
how did you search for the contract. I'm currently looking for local dedicated routes too.
Indeed
I got a question where do you find a company to lease to doing that
Dm Me In IG

How many miles did your truck have on it when you bought it? Looking to get in the game but I was anticipating have to spend 35 -40k to get a box truck which Is most of my savings so I’m hesitant to do it. If I could get into something for around 10 like you It would make it a lot easier.
20k-25k should get you a very good truck. the market isn't the same as before
Did you start?
One of the Biggest mistakes that A LOT of these box truck guys made that are no longer in business,is EXPANDING TOO FAST.. It sounds like you are about to make the SAME MOVE by ADDING a VAN, which would mean that you would need to ADD a DRIVER.... This would all happen at the SAME TIME when your truck is constantly running into maintenance issues!!! Ironically ,You have just informed us that you have signed up for CDL school, which is great, but, that probably means, that,at some point in time, you plan on giving up on your box truck altogether, for a semi truck!?!? I think you are moving too fast and you don't have your feet planted on solid ground yet... That could be lead to a lot of problems in the short run, mainly because of financial problems..Stick to ONE THING FOR NOW.
There is still a LOT of things for you to learn..Your truck needs immediate attention!!! That should be your 1st priority!!
Not buying another truck!😉😉😉😉👍👍
Some people gotta learn the hard way🤦🏿♂️
Respectfully speaking, I definitely WOULD NOT CONSIDER ADDING A TRUCK OR VAN TO YOUR COMPANY AT THIS TIME.. The risks and overhead are too high, and your current truck is beginning to have maintenance issues that are going to need a lot of your attention...6 months in this business is NOT enough time to prepare for the backup funds and preparations for potential problems..What's the use in rushing to add a second truck after 6 months anyway???? ( For YT Fame???) I think you should concentrate on taking your money and OVERHAULING some of the parts on your current Truck instead of buying another one.. Few people think that way... Forget about the cargo van for now You can only drive 1 vehicle at a time and hiring a driver is an even bigger hardship at this time (Why rush it)... Concentrate on what you already have, and make that BETTER...Your truck is Giving you several Warnings! listen to it!!! Don't Ignore the warning signs!!! Best of luck 😉😉😉😉
Thank You For The Advice. Others RUclipsrs And Me Aren't The Same Though. The Most Units I Will Own Is 3. And All Of Them Will Remain Local Incase I Need A Tow. All Maintenance Work Is Done By Me And Family From Simple Oil Changes To Engine Swaps. I'm In No Rush To Expand At All Just Talking The Future. I've Been In Business For 6 Months But My Family Has Been IN It Since The 90s And I Ask Them For Knowledge.
Man I’m 17 and my mom said she getting me a box truck for my 18 bday and she said she need a lay out u got any tips updated 2024?btw my bday in 4 months
You’ll Have To Stay Local Since Your Under 21. Start Looking For Local Work From Now
For some
Reason its always at night smh
How you going drive cargo van, box truck, and get a CDL to drive a semi.. You planning on hiring drivers or you going sell all your vehicles for the semi truck 🤔 just curious bro
Hire 2 Driver While I Drive The Semi
@@qb6737where you from
What company are you driving for bro?
I'm A Owner Operator
Do u know of any dispatchers that work with new truckers willing to go OTR
Arnold Dispatch On Instagram
@@qb6737🙏🏻
You hiring for drivers
How much is insurance roughly?
1200 per month , but it depends on a lot factors
I'm the beginning how was you getting two loads a day with Amazon? I can never find day loads
Gotta do your time amazon gots you on probation
Post A Truck. Do One For The Morning To Evening And One At Night
U got a cdl
Not Yet, I'm In The Process Of Getting It
I live in California. L.A.. I want to get my CDL License. What is my first step?
Find A Reputable School Or Sign On With A Mega Carrier To Get It. You Will Have To Work For Them If You Allow Them To Pay
You don’t need a CDL license to own a box truck company. Only a valid drivers license. You’re not driving semi sized trucks, but if you want to, then yeah you’ll need a CDL license.
OK you just said post a truck
Is it hard to get loads when u first start ? I see a lot of videos of owners complaining that they aren’t finding loads
