just seen a video about a tent on a kayak, it was very cumbersome but if you used a hammock tent all you would need is a support frame on the kayak to hold the hammock tent just join 2 kayaks together 1 for the tent and 1for you to drive in

I have long been trying to figure out a Bimini top to be used for shade.
I’m still thinking and looking for that perfect fit.
There has to be a way to make one… mount into the track system with light tubes and just pull it up just like any regular Bimini top. It could easily fold down to the rear. If it gets windy, just fold it down.

Hey TJ, some critique to share with John, I bought a set of the rod holders for our pa12. It’s an older boat, I had to use a rubber strip to hold onto the round bar, and later on the top half of my front bracket came off going down the highway. We need to adjust that attachment a bit so it doesn’t wiggle loose!
We do like our yak gadget products so far!
Also, reach out to me and let’s discuss a helpful solution I have for our industry.

I bought a brand new Hobie 360...used it 2x and went right back to my hewes flats boat. Loading and unloading the kayak was a real turn off to me....took the fun out of fishing. Sure, I have to load my boat...but its light years easier than trying to prepare a kayak and then store everything away again. But I can certainly see where to many the hassle is worth the savings versus a boat. I learned that a kayak just isn't for everyone.

you could even do bladeless water thrust, that part would be molded into the hull at manufacture, it works on the venturi principle, using hi pressure water to gain thrust, the only moving part would be steering ie the rudder and water pump,, if an eel got sucked in it, would be blown out without harm

Because I use the space inside kayak for other gear. While I’m fishing. The only time I use the built in horizontal storage is when I’m hauling the kayak. It is not ideal to fish with you rides stowed in the floor.

I drive a 10' LSF mirage propel kayak , weighs 98 lbs without all the toys. How much do these kayaks weigh now that you have all the accessories on them??? There has to be $2500 plus just in add-on toys on these yaks , salmon fishing is a hoot on these kayaks. Once hooked up it make take ten to fifteen minutes and a half a mile or more until you land the fish but it is a blast watching a twelve to twenty pound fish drag you around like you are nothing. I keep it simple compared to your setups, love the toys you have added but I think my wife would neuter me if I spent that much on my kayak.....ah at 58 I don't want anymore kids anyway.... Lol👍 👍 🇨🇦

A suggestion for you or them: out of the 100's of hobies I've seen, no one really utilizes the front 2 mounting boards. I'd like an option to somehow safely hold/store your pedal drive sideways out of the way. Cheers

I have a AI and no useable sail or rudder. Hobie has overpriced their accessories and many times are user unfriendly. You tube is saturated making it hard to find useful info.
Does every pedal drive well pour in water into the cockpit? It’s almost unusable for whet I doing.
I need easy troller Mount, starboard platforms that are slip resistant instead of trampolines, and a seat that is raised under 100 bucks. Nothing out there.
Kayakers are resourceful and with most useful mods unavailable or over priced a savy producer should bank as far as tracks for AI, I haven’t found any yet like the ones there.
