@@oddchristianbirkeland35 That’s one way to do it. Then some timestamps in the video description would help. But hey, I really enjoy these videos, so I watch them anyway it goes 😊👍
Your PC2 series was invaluable, and here you are again saving my ass in ACC!!! Without your videos I would probably be banging my head against the wall in frustration. Really appreciate the videos. Thanks
This is fantastic man! I'm still relatively new to ACC and proper sim racing as a whole, so I've really been struggling with getting decent times on Spa. This will help immensely, thanks for the guide!
I will be, I just have limited time at the moment and my knee is giving me a couple of issues so I'm having to put this on the back burner for a couple of weeks until I have more time to do each episode. I will be finishing and doing all the tracks though, that's for sure.
Great video. Fantastic tutorial. Your method of track guide first then lap after shows you are a pro and that strategy unlike what others may think enables a rookie driver to learn the track then see an application of the guide. I'm on PS4 and recently decided to use the AMG for upcoming AOR League season 2. With the exception of a few gears(3rd) that's exactly the lines i run. Where you use 3rd i use second but my set-up may be using lower down force so i need 2nd to stabilize. Once I understand how to stay focused first couple laps I'll be ok for the 1hr races.
Love this track.. i was only able to get 2.32 because I tend to be too safe on the corners and do very slow throttle on exit, need to work and practice a lot.. thanks for the gudie

In the Ferrari I’m struggling with the flat out line from the middle of Fagnes to bus stop, that’s how I get into the low 19s but I have no reliable way to consistently line it up and it’s driving me mental haha
Great guide thank you, now i can work out how to go faster as i can only manage a 2:22:XXX in the Porsche. I feel the Porsche is not the fastest on the straights so i need to find time in the corners.
Yeah, the Porsche doesn't have the straight line speed so it suffers a bit here but it will be strong in the turns none the less. Getting the tyre pressures right can find you a heap of time. I did this with the Aggressive default, getting tyre pressures in the right window, 2-3 clicks up on the camber all round, Brake ducts at 2-1 (Front - Rear) and Brake Type 1. Other than that, just changed brake bias to personal preference and got to a mid 2:18 as you saw. I think with a good and well hooked up lap on the right tyre pressures, you can probably get yourself into the 2:20's quite nicely.
@@Yorkie065 Thank you for the info i shall try tinker with my setup and looking how wide i can run on the curbs helps a little with carrying some speed. But i find the Porsche handles like a dream on Spa, at least when it comes to racing i think i can beat my friends due to being easier on the tyres.
@@antk2837 Best tip for any track. Go online and save replay with someone who is really fast on this track. And then watch replay with his speed, braking point, steering inputs etc. This player can be at any car but its better to find player with the same car that you are playing.
Thanks for these, wonderful work. I'm proud that I got >most< of the gears and apexes right by instinct. Also, is it just me or does PC2 have very different rules regarding using turf and curbs. Always feels like if I even put my outside wheels over the curb a little, it disqualifies my time.
Okay, clearly I suck at driving because my unofficial PB (from last night - and unofficial because of lap invalidation due to going too wide in last turn before chicane) is *19 seconds slower* than the lap on this video. My official time is 1.4 seconds slower than that. Shitty! And I had a whopping 2 of 18 laps that WERE valid. Even shittier! WT actual F?!? I was even in a McLaren with the aggressive default setup. After watching this I feel confident I can shave off 6-9 seconds pretty quickly -- now knowing the track limits. But I have NO idea how to lose those last 10-12 seconds... that's an eternity ! Oi... Time to put in some hours in the rig.
I wish people would stop talking about lap times during a hotlap. Do some long distance racing : Day and night, rain and shine, thats GT3. Great guide from YORKIE. Sounds liks MARS BARS.. :-)
4:15 because of the sudden hill, the car usually gets slowed down just a tad so i like to downshift and ring it out before shifting back into 4th for more speed. hope this helps someone!
That's probably because you've just started racing as you said. The key is to keep practicing and to work on being consistent, making sure you hit the same braking point each time that allows you to hit the apexes in each corner. From there, you'll quickly see where you can find time and the pace starts to come to you. Take your time, don't force it and the lap time will naturally come to you and start to come down.

Yes, different games have different levels of track limits. ACC is much more lenient than PC2.

Oh, and why does your driver turn his head while cornering? Mine doesn't, but it sure would help if he did!

how did u get ur head to stare in like that
The braking zones is it the same in the wet or do we add more?
It would be good if u mentioned the braking zones for wet race.
Add more in the wet. Should only need 5-20 metres depending on the speed entering the corner and how wet the track is, so not too much.
