I'm curious to know about two particulars: 1) does Crete use driver facing cameras? 2) Does Crete have some kind of AI Scoring system like ATS (Anderson Trucking Service) that has their Lytx System? An example is that if you do 60 MPH on a 55 MPH Zone, your score drops therefore you don't qualify for "safe miles"?
I heard good things about Crete and wanted to apply in the past, but I started watching The Joy of Trucking, and one thing happened that completely turned me off from applying
@@weirdfan88yea that's true they ask you to take it to TA or Loves as you going down the road under a load, and you could be sitting there for 3 or 4 hours before they get to you
Personally I try to find a loves along my route that’s 24 hours truck care. Get up an hour before I get my clock back and check it in. 8/10 chance nobody will be waiting for service and an annual should only take an hour or two at most.
Good morning, Tyler! You and Crete are going well…great job! Very fortunate you enjoy your work and company. Great to hear from you and roll safe out there! With current freight situation I would think many would seek a stable job with Crete!
It’s incredibly awesome having someone of your good character and qualities in our Crete family. Yes, Crete excellent company. It’s amazing Crete doesn’t have waiting list of drivers wanting to work for them. Stability is at 5:255:26 Crete. I’ve been here 18.5 years. I’ll retire well off financially.
I hope that you are an inspiration to many other truck drivers. Watching your videos makes me look forward to maybe having a job with a carrier like Crete
Hey man great video. Have you heard any good or bad things about old dominion, would you recommend them for someone that doesn't have a crete near them?
Crete's official rule is every 6 days out, you get 1 day home. But you're correct that it's not set in stone. I have zero issues taking extra days off, but I am North Platte dedicated. Last time leaving the house, there were a few loads I was able to pick from and when each one left my area. I ended up taking 3 more days off and leaving later than anticipated and that was North Platte offering. Not me asking or begging...Crete rules and for them to get rid of me, they're going to have to fire me. haha I'm also not leaving any time soon.

@@malachor5ve There was a video where they had to take a trailer to a shop to get an annual inspection, and he wasn't paid for the time it took.
