Did you look into using trench flow concrete ? It can flow 15 to 20 metres in length and it is self levelling it costs more money but saves on the labour and literally one man can put it in !
There was a few options, ideally I wanted a pump but it was too tight for room! It worked out ok in the end but for more plots I would definitely used a pump
Just a quick one, as have watched your videos for a while now and always given good advice, newly qualified bricklayer just finished my apprenticeship, as you’ve not seen me lay, what would you say is the minimum a qualified bricklayer should be earning self employed in the southwest? Any advice would be brilliant, thanks Tone
Depends what level you’re at. Problem these days is all of these RUclips videos telling you how much you should be earning makes newly qualified bricklayers and apprentices feel entitled to top money. My advice would be to focus on getting as good as you can at being a bricklayer and the money will follow
So hard to say mate, it would be unfair for me to give an indication without seeing you lay, work ethic, attendance, team work etc. I know it’s hard but try not to chase the money, work hard, turn up, produce a good standard and the rest will fall into place 👍🏻
Coming along nicely 🏡
👊🏻
Smart man for getting your old man to lend a hand. My first pour was for an extension and it was a complete disaster.
Not a lot he hasn't seen or done 👍🏻
