- After we bought our 100+ year old home, we discovered a troubling crack in our brick foundation. In this video I attempt to remedy the situation by replacing the walls underneath my house.

A guy on RUclips who is not afraid to WORK and get stuff done in a 100% original way. Love it man.
found this on Reddit. Excellent. How anyone has so much energy to do this and create a video is a miracle. With the dark humor and metal licks too. Kewl.
You have the same time, you could do it also.
rebuild foundations, create a music video, and narrate it like it was written by Chuck Palahniuk.. cake walk
This video is epic. This project is epic. Mujin is a badass new god.
"I decided a sassy little window would really tie this whole f**ing thing together" had me actually laughing out loud. I'm gonna post the link to this video in a few places to try to get it some more views.
Keep up the great work, man.
incredible documentation here. i also LOL at the sassy window comment 😂
That 1st cement bag breaking after going down the slide had me in stitches (I feel like the equivalent always happens on every project I touch). This whole video was very well edited. Nice job on the wall too.
It was the “subscribe” right after it split that really sent me.
Thanks for making a tough job a hundred times harder by expertly filming it. This is a great fun way to chronicle your home remodel. I really DIG your style.
that was far more entertaining for a foundation repair than I thought it would be.
Do WAY more of this. It's amazing. Subbed to see what will become of the "rainy day" brick.
You are one of the hidden gems of youtube. Keep up the good work, small boy.
"I decided to sassy a little window in there to really tie this whole fucking thing together" had me dying
Yo this was a piece of art
What an awesome video. Not sure how you don't have half a million subscribers so here is one towards that
Criminally underrated channel, Thanks dude, Subbed.
I just found your channel, and I absolutely love it. I really hope you keep making stuff like this because you were born for it.
Thank you so much - I'm certainly going to try!
I think that's a Запорожец - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ZAZ_Zaporozhets#Second_generation_(1966-1994)
For anyone not familiar, this car has a whole category of jokes in Russian - they start with a car accident between one of these and a Mercedez 600.
hello sir I am a professional viewer and tell you hwat that's a good video you got there
this video has way more effort put into it than any other video I've seen my whole life
I've had this in "watch later" for a couple of weeks now. Ridiculously amazing. You had me at death metal. And kept me through how I imagine Bob Ross would tell the inspectors what a footer should be.
Wow! The combination of talents and humor on display in this video is super impressive. Subbed to see what else you’ve been up to in the last 3 years.
Hey mate. Great work. Very talented. You can do carpentry, brick laying, play the guitar like an absolute weapon, great humour and a wizard at editing. This should have way more views.
So glad it found your channel. You are crazy talented.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching this. I really look forward to your next videos.
I’m not sure what I just watched! But, that was impressive and the added flavor of heavy metal, dark humor, and a horror film vibe… Two thumbs up!
You did a great job for a smol boy. Great video! I subbed as soon as the metal interlude hit.
YOU CANT JUST DIVE IN HEAD FIRST TO MURDER BASMENT! If your close to chesterfield I got some brick you can have lol. Crazy old lady before me buried that crap everywhere.
When I have kids your videos will be part of their educational curriculum.
Damn. The most cinematic and "out there" home DIY I've ever watched. The video itself deserves an award. But so does the project which was no walk in the park.
This was incredible and this channel needs more love !
was that a alexi laihoi tribute in the middle ?
out of all the foundation videos out there, this one has the best sound track!
Fast edits, subtly embedded dank memes, non-sequitur nihilistic quotes, heavy metal riffs, cinematic videography, humble and honest narration, underappreciated construction science body of knowledge, overly disclosed disclaimers. I am your target audience. Subscribed.
Nice work mate 🤙
More of these videos! This one was great! New sub!
Thank you sir.
You have inspired me to be more vocal in videos with my satan worship. LMFAO
If this wasn't awesome, I'd never comment.
I'm assuming this man doesn't have kids. If he did during this renovation I'm inclined to believe he's not human. Having the energy to produce this whilst actually doing insane renovation and adding jokes is mind blowing to me.
I can't wait to see you on Joe Rogan
extremely entertaining, i have a calc 2 midterm coming up in a couple hours but I watched this instead of studying
This is incredibly funny and amazingly well edited. Well ahead of it's time and still basically fresher than anything else on RUclips. And I watch A LOT of RUclips. What planet did you come from, and what are you doing on earth? 😮😂😎
Great project, and great video editing, memes, and music selection. Subbed. Now I just want a playlist of the music lol.
I subscribed just for the mind blowing editing. And the content was great too. How this channel only has 16K subs is beyond me.
How do you have so few subscribers? Your content is absolutely fantastic. I loved the sorcerer’s apprentice reference!
Great job man.
Saw the floor video first, this one came up next....subbed for the shredding!!
Came for the jokes, left with knowledge of how to change my car tires properly. I appreciate this channel.
i actually learned very much about bricks and bricklaying
thanks 😁
also the music was good good!
So I stumbled onto this from your IG and while I have zero interest in foundation work and my hardcore ADHD usually prevents me from ever watching a near 30 minute YT video, I was hooked. Epic stuff dude! I sub'd, liked, saved, tweeted, and all that other stuff. 🤘🏻
Thanks a ton!
Haha. Insane. I may be taking on a job like this soon. Thanks for the inspiration.
Came here from reddit...was not disappointed!
You're so funny, I love finding channels like yours. It must be so hard to put this amount of effort into the editing and jokes so I immediately subscribed to show my appreciation
he can home renovate, shred, crack jokes, AND look good while doing it? what CAN'T this man do?!
Weird how under the ground American houses and old British houses look basically the same. Same shitty brick walls that fall apart, only here, everything starts above ground
Sent here by Midwest Magic Cleaning. You owe Spinkick Johnny $4 for the referral lol 😂
This dude is built like Dr. Disrespect but his hair is REAL. And, is that some bespoke metal for the soundtrack? Magnificent.
Midwest magic sent/referred me. Great job and I laughed so hard I woke family up❣️👌🤣
Very cool editing, sounds, clips for such an otherwise random video!
Keep up the good work, and judging by your video making skills, this should be (or maybe already is) your profession! 😅
And was wondering, is there no insulation in the walls and floors?
Should improve the comfort of your house a lot if you insulate everything.
Thanks for the very bad memories ! I did the very exact same thing about 10 years ago in NY - including opening up the hidden space and the dirt floor and outside house (in reality super hard clay to dig through) I think we hired the same home inspector. I took the easy way out - and built all the way up with cinder blocks only. No replacing the bricks. Great video. Thanks for a fun video and bad memories.
Well done lad, a LOT of hard work, but well worth the outcome. Also spat my tea out laughing at the cement slide.
This is some quality content, I too am an extreme DIYer and have found myself doing projects I’m far from qualified for, but this is on another level
I fucking KNEW you lived in Detroit just by the sunroom Brick wall alone lmao.
All those old houses around the Great Lakes all look the same.
Honestly, you probably got the deal of a lifetime with how well the market is doing round these parts these days.
I have to do about 6 foot of light duty footing along the edge of a thin garage slab to support the wall which was sitting on raw dirt, rotten, and mouldy. Yay. Also french drain under and around it and across the backmof the slab too.
Great doing mate. Love how you kept at least a LOOK at the tedium of these projects in, really cool stuff!
Just the intro was hardcore, i watched the slab pour video first and you did excellent.
That digging is soul destroying.
I had to dig out down the side of my first house (no machine access),took me weeks and was literally tonnes of the stuff..
You have my utmost admiration for tackling such humongous work. On the other hand, stuffing a window chassis in a supporting wall is a really bad idea. The chassis is to hold the windows, not the house. With time, the windows will get stuck and slide no more, even worse, possibly cracks. An empty space should have been left on top of the chassis and filled with insulation instead of concrete. Other means should have been implemented to support the top brick layers over the chassis, like a wooden or metal frame. Good job, anyway 🎉
Home reno work and some shredding in the basement, hell yes!!
We get to sit back, enjoy and get secondhand satisfaction from a job well done while you put in the outrageous amount of effort with the job itself, filming and editing!! Keep it up
Just started getting recommended your content. From a fellow Detroiter, nice work, and you have my sub!
Job well done! Here in Connecticut you would have to use 10" blocks. 8" blocks are only permitted for crawl spaces.
Please go back to this editing style. It's a lot of work yes but it's so fucking cool. Good luck man.
wtf, I think I just found my new favourite channel. I love the metal vibes 🤘
criminally underrated video, should have alot more views.
still having trouble jacking up my car tho
Wow, that's an incredible job! In New England, it's not allowed to use brick foundations for remodeling, but still, great work!
Hands down (and hands up) the most entertaining build channel since ever.
It sucks that there's a more popular channel spelled exactly the same as this one except the umlaut. This channel deserves way more recognition than that one.
brother, I have been with my dad who's a plumber in basements tearing up concrete to remove drain pipe and I'm sending to this to him haha. The fact that you were able to have the willpower to do this on your own is astounding. Buy some more property and keep making videos like this.
I got recommended from your video on doing the floor btw, I have been there with pouring but have yet to be flipped by a concrete mixer hahaha
I look forward to seeing your youtube career grow :)
Dude...I'm 😢 here! I'll be 60 in August, and for the past 10 years I've been doing this heavy shit. My BACK, hips, neck, everything is deteriorating...Was it the wall? The 18' laminated beams? The 20 4x4 and 6x6 posts? The 2 pallets of concrete, or the 6' x 20' freestanding concrete wall I jackhammered out? Dunno...Maybe it was the 30 foot high rock chimney I pulled down and reused as a wall? Or the sump pit , or the new roof...I dunno...I just want to STOP! But now? A 30' x 7' leaning 15° poured councete wall demands fixing. HOW will I die? It sure as shit wont be between a womans thighs....😂
great work. That is a big job for a DIY. You definitely have some experience and balls and this is not your first rodeo.
Wow, brutish OCD style solo DYI mixed with humor and professional contractor level competence?!?
The editing in this video is pure r/ATBGE
It's so jarring and hyperactive
You should put XPS boards on the outside of foundation. Otherwise Great Job!!!
A bit psychodelic (MINDFUCKERY) but the skills are real! Good work!
So why don't you interview the home inspector? Was there any repercussion?
Overseas thet have plastic woven concrete bags and were first world yeah right.
Dude. This is literally the best piece of making video I've found in a long time and I recently discovered stuff made here. Please, pretty please, continue this channel. I laught my ass off when you drilled holes into the car 😂
BTW nice footage, sweet post processing, add more lighting next time
Amazing content. I hope wie get to see more from you!
After watching my first Müjin vid earlier today I immediately started laughing when i saw this one come up on my timeline knowing what’s to come.
Finally, someone who can give me proper brick facts. Half as Interesting could never.
Did you get any kind of settlement from the home inspector (for their being utterly useless).
This is one of the most unique, hilarious and fully entertaining videos I've ever seen. Subscribed!
3:01 That stack of buckets made me laugh out loud. I didn't really get that at 2:57 you already have 10 around, lol.
I don't know why the algorithm sent me here today, but it was a great watch. Sorry I'm 3 years late....
Who needs a gym membership when you have to take on a HUGE project to do ...?
Great video
5:27 How is that sexy?
This video is sick, thanks for the entertainment dude 10/10 on the work
5:35 Is it a coincidence that the X is placed on a historic Ukrainian city that serves as a transport hub to the EU?
God tier DIY skills. Amazing!
this is so metal. the level of DIY punishment is palpable
What can I say, it was a heavy job
I only regret, that I have but one LIKE to give. Amazing video. Subscribed!
Cool brick fact #6 was my favorite. I love brick facts.
The best entertainment I've ever had the pleasure of watching!
Your content is the shit. Subbed and pumped for your upcoming videos.
