really good video, picking up alot from the whole series. thank you. ref the internal drainage. how is it maintained? or what if there is a leak... heaven forbid. what is the process of investigation and repairing faults given its under the building. currently designing a small plot on a civils course. many tia
I really should not fail to be honest, touches wood!, that is why there is always a sperate drainage inspection, just to make sure it is correct as its a nightmare to repair. Don't get me wrong, it can be sorted but alot of hassle. Thanks for stopping by 👍🏻
Thanks 👍🏻 Block and Beam is better where there are trees, although we hit really good ground when digging the foundations our architect still preferred block and beam to a traditional oversite. I also thinks it’s a better job, it’s quicker and also works well with me using underfloor heating
It might be different in some places but with the trees around the plot I wanted to get it done 👍🏻 not sure if you need to lean fill when using trench blocks
Looking good I’m guessing your beams work gauge then do they the plots I’m doing at the minute are 175mm beams so need a 40mm split all round the inside
Lovely Jubbly , block work looks fantastic .Not often a job goes to schedule , so well done for that too.
Thanks
Taking good shape all the best with it...
Thanks mate

Coming along nice mate 🧱👌
Getting there mate! Videos are actually a little behind so we are further forward but I'm staging the videos a little behind the actual build
Great progress.
Can I ask why are you using B&B instead of a traditional solid floor arrangement?

Ive worked on a few places where dont lean fill cavity .

Beams are 150mm but we still have a 40mm in between the beams, under the blocks that sits on the beam if that makes sense
Put the split under the splash course instead to get the coursing right.
Less splits, because you don't need to do the internal walls
@@lukeregan449 good thinking Batman
Yes i would give you a 4 for that
I’m happy with that mate 😂 first time doing drainage
£1.04 per plus. 7.3n concrete Scotland currently paying.
92p per block for 7.3n concrete but I was quoted £1.32 😳
@@Tone_Team
Yeah seen £14-£15 Sqm all sorts just ripping the life out it same with cement. Wasn’t to long ago paying £7.50. 🙃
£1.20 per 7N block.
Less if you had more buying power
It was £1.32 per block until Jake sorted them at 92p each 👍🏻
@Tone_Team
Travis sell them to me for £1.20 😕.
96p is some buying power 💪
