LOVE that compression from the zoom. I'm definitely interested in this one for my first tele on my Sony cameras!
Thanks dude! Telephoto lens are life!
Be careful at San Francisco, many photographers were robbed at gunpoint.
Literally this. I live in the bay area and this is my biggest fear walking away from a lens foe a shot
We were just there last year and we were taking photos at almost that very same spot. We were down below where those bunkers are to the left and we got some while we were down on the beach as well. Super cool. Love the video.
Oh cool! Such a cool spot right??? Thanks for watching!
Nice! Definitely wanna go back to SF but still unsure about the snatch and grab
Great video and awesome shot...you got soooo lucky with that weather man its tough to get perfect conditions around golden gate bridge especially with the fog. Does that place get super busy around what time would u recommend to get there. Thanks.
I got my 70-200 II back in February and I've been upping the game on all my photos its by far the best lens for the money.
I have the the 70-200 2.8L EF mark III and I personally love it - I think the 70-200mm is strangely practical in a lot of shots
Yeah you're absolutely right!
This is my 2nd wish list for lens… first being the 24-70 gm2… hopefully I can get these lens… eventually.
Sorry I am late…great video dude! Solid lens for sure! I love Luminar Neo. I use it for everything now. So good!
Thanks my dude!
I just picked up the Sony 70-200 and had never used it in the field. Day 1 the price (even for the f4) was justified. 70-200 is the PERFECT addition to a kit and you can still shoot at 70 if you don’t want that crazy compression. 👏🏾
Great shots!!!
With tripod do you need to turn oss of?
I need to bring out my 55-250mm more thanks syd!😊
Telephoto lens are LIFE!!!!
Super bro..I am a huge fan of telephoto lens..i like it
Love the shots! What time did you go? It's usually a lot busier over there!
I went mid February. It was so empty!!
Favorite lens I own. I just took it to San Francisco to the exact same spots last week.
Great Video no wonder you were so pleased ! Couple of questions. You obviously remote triggered the camera, was that with your Apple Watch? And I noticed you had what looked like a square Cam on your chest, if so what model and make was it? Or did I mistake it for your mic?! :-) thanks !!!
I actually just used old school interval shooting haha
@@SidneyDiongzon ahhhh ok great thanks !!
Next time if you come back to the same place. Walking down towards your left is Marshall Beach. Epic view of the beach and bridge! Oh, I love the long focal length. I'm glad you did this video. It makes me want to take mine out this weekend :-)
I wanted to go down there, but had to rush back
What's YOUR dream lens?
That one you have lol 70-200GM, but I’m broke lol 😂
Waiting for Sony 85 1.2 gm 😮
@@Vikrams 🫢
One day!!!!!
@@SidneyDiongzon yep!
I do need this lens
It’s a dream lens
Dope 🤙🏼
I would love to use a 70-200…taking pictures of my son in surf camp with an 85mm prime was not enough reach 😢
Is the editing software free? One time fee? I hate how Lightroom is subscirption
What tripod is that?
I need to choose 2 cameras, for photo and video.
Which one do I choose?
Sony a7RV, Sony a1, Sony Fx3, Sony a7SIII
Help me please!
And why the options?
Thanks
If I were you I would choose these
1) [Sony A7RV] for photo & video because it has 61mp, 4 axis screen, new futures autofocus, slog3 10bit 4:2:2 60fp internal recording & full frame sencer .....
2) [Sony FX3] for just cinema video
because of the lowlight, 4k slog3 4:2:2 120fp internal recording & small size cinema camera
But before all make sure you have a skill & story to shoot ✌️
Do you ever use the 2x tele converter with the 70-200ii?
That’s my next purchase!!!
@@SidneyDiongzon get it. I just got a 9+ rating used from B&H. Nice little discount. But throwing that on and then throwing it into apsc mode is a beast at 600mm!
Oh wow! Yeah I’m hyped to get one!
wicked. rookie question.. how did you send the image to your phone right away to be able to send the image to the stranger? lol
I used the Creator App to link my camera to my phone, then AirDropped the images to those people. Easy.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN WTH THIS MEANS: If you are using a lens with the
Optical SteadyShot™ (OSS) feature, then the In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS)
or SteadyShot selection of the camera will be unavailable
My Sony FE 4.5-5.6/70-300 G OSS lens has a switch on the barrel marked "Optical Steady Shot: On/Off"
My A7R4A has an option of turning IBIS (in body image stabilization) on and off.
Question: When IBIS (in body image stabilization) is turned on, should the Optical Steady Shot switch on the lens barrel be turned on or off?
Note: I have seen statements to the effect that IBIS and lens stabilization should not be used together. Does this apply to the A7R4A ?
They work together. Here is the explanation from Sony.
”If you are using a lens with the Optical SteadyShot™ (OSS) feature, then the In Body Image Stabilization (IBIS) or SteadyShot selection of the camera will be unavailable. When both the camera and lens have the feature, the lens stabilization overrides the menu system of the camera and the systems work in conjunction with each other to provide a 5-axis stabilization system. If you connect a lens that does not have the SteadyShot feature or turn off the feature on a lens that does, then the feature selection is available within the camera menu and the camera.”
Those definitely were some epic shots you got
Ahh thank you soooo much! 🙏
@@SidneyDiongzon you’re welcome
5:40 nooo start with primes! Better in low light, keep you focused on composition, helps you to understand and master a specific focal length.
It look‘s great, but my „problem“ is I have the tamron 35-150. 😅
I'm glad that you didn't get mugged. It's a real problem with photographers getting mugged in SF.
I guess I lucked out haha
Love it! Let's talk focus -- did you lock the focus on the bridge one time and another on the ledge to get you in focus and then went out to the point to take the photo, or did you use the app to tap to change focus and trigger the shutter? Keep up the great work, Sidney! 👏
The A7RV has my face memorize and kept me in focus ✌️
@@SidneyDiongzon -- Ah! Nice -- using the new features to the max!
We just got the Sony FE 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 G OSS Lens for the church and man that thing is amazing! Trying to improve our thumbnails and such.
Long lenses are so handy!
I own f4 EF and I think it is a little bit soft :(
Have you played with the 2.8 version yet?
@@SidneyDiongzon Nope. Never.
Noooo don’t tell em the spot 🤣 love my city ❤
Why are all your blacks lifted?
I use LN regular, feel you could have spent a minute adjusting the sky so new users could actually see what can be done.
Adjust the blur so the depth of field is realistic etc
Cool location though
Yeah I could have, but I just wanted to do a quick demo
@@SidneyDiongzon ye fair comment, it was a nice shot which if you tweaked the sky it would have shown what it could have been with a few adjystments that all.
Keep up the content, ill have a recap on the channel too, see what other content you've covered in the past
you have this lens but sony give this lens for you>
No, I actually got it myself lol
Terrible thing to say but living in the SF Bay Area, that I am surprised is that you did get robbed or pistol whipped for your camera gear. Believe me it happens frequently here it's on our news. I think it was last year a group followed a photographer from the same place to their home 40miles away, Chelsea and Tony Northup did video about it.
Reading your comment makes me thankful to live in Australia!
