@@stanislavivanov9334 Most of sonys cameras are weather sealed (excluding things like the ZV-E1, the more budget cameras) and as long as you pair it with a weather sealed lens your golden. its not waterproof, but it wont let rain ingress.
The photos at the beginning with the man look perfect, he has a good outfit and you have the skills in photography. Keep up the good work, really good photos. You're so underrated.
Your photos are superb, Curtis. I especially love that black and white photo of Big Ben with the pigeons in frame, so artsy and classic. Absolutely fantastic photographer you are.
On a crop sensor like the A6700 it's 105-300mm, that's TIGHT for a street photography lens, but you can focus in on subjects, which makes it really interesting.
This seems like the perfect lens for folks like me who wants to use people as subjects but not comfortable getting too close. I especially enjoy doing low light street photography so it’s 2.8 aperture works great at night on an a6700. Currently using an old Nikon D5600 which is still a good DSLR but about to upgrade to a Sony Alpha a6700 for its low light capabilities.
Love these videos of yours, pls keep sharing details on how you manage exposure & other photo ideas! Really inspires me to go out and just shoot random stuff 💪🏼
Another great video, congrats!! I can't decide between the A6700 or A7iv to buy. I used to photography urban landscapes and cityscapes. Any suggestion?
I’m buying an a6700 today and I can’t wait!!:) I don’t do any filming but want to get into photography, this will be my first camera. Is this a good one for still shots? It seems to be! Also any lens recommendations for this camera to start out?
The guy inspecting the jewellery was the man from the antique Road show... 👍🏾Nice one.🤣. the way you move around that camara is like your a black belt in martial arts .. big up from Jay in Manchester
Sigma does have a 50-100 f/1.8 for APS-C, but you’ll need the Sigma MC-11 adapter for that. Sadly not 50-150 like you mentioned. Tried it once some years ago and was impressed by that lens.
Hi, is it possible to get that good/better/perfect shot with an auto ISO setting? I really love your photography skills. It inspires me to start photography 😁. Please keep inspiring! Best, Jay.
Thanks for proving the Sony a6700 is the best camera ever. I love mine. every time I shoot images, I'm thinking it was taken with my A7R3. Watching you use whatever lens is absolutely fun. What can you do with a 200-600??? I'd pass on that one.
What made you go for the A6700? I actually just got rid of my beloved A6400 for the A7Cii silver and oh how I could never go back to the aps-c lenses haha still the A6400 is an amazing camera though in 2024 for new people looking! love the content as always! need to hit up Donnington ;D
10, 24, 28, 35, 50, 85....70-200 or even 100-400 i feel like whatever lens youve got on you at the time works for street photography, screw the haters and purists who are all about that 28/35mm. You simply just take different shots with the different focal length, theres 100% shots you'll struggle to get at 70-200, but the sames true for 28mm 😋 if youre enjoying using it, who cares 😂
Enjoyable POV, Curtis. Cool proximity shots. Nice reminder about background decoy technique. Guy w/yellow umbrella not as eye-catching, IMO, when converted to B&W. Thought you gave up on torn pants as fashion statement. 😊Cheers!
I love the longer focal lengths , works for me ... have fun in Lisbon, some great tram shots for sure , watch out for the dodgy weed dealers & pick pockets though .. have fun
Bro I bought the A6700 and I love it!! Then suddenly found your channel and love your videos, have you seen any issues after the rain? Does the weather seal holds up? Cheers man (:
Hey Valerdesh! I have the a6700 as well, it has been through 3 heavy rains now, paired with the 70-200 GMii as well, it dried off perfectly fine, absolutely no issues! It got soaked even worse than Curtis's setup! I would not worry at all taking it in rain as long as you dry it off and put some silica packets around it afterwards.
Ayy glad to hear you are enjoying the A6700! Also great to hear you are enjoying my videos, thanks for tuning in. I have had the A6700 in a number of rain pours this being the UK Haha, from my experince had no issues, drys off without an issue. Hope that helps :)
is a6700 weather sealed? was there any issue when you shot this video? I mean I am okay if it can be used in small rain like in your video. Really nice shots and editing by the way.
Thanks Mate, battery life from my experince is pretty good, I used nearly two batteries for this whole day of shooting, I don't think that's bad at all. If you throw shooting video into mix it will decrease quicker, but still think for what the camera is packing on the inside the battery life is pretty good. Hope that helps :)
Hi, at 12:38 you mentioned keeping the iso low and having to keep the lens steady, im new to photography and wanted to know the correlation between iso and steadyness? Love the content as always

Can someone explain to me how his pictures have no noise and look clean? I have tons of noise at 6400 iso and I actually hate using denoise on LR because skin looks like a painting. Btw I only use 50 on denoise

Have you tried the Sony 70-350? I know its not a fixed 2.8, but was wondering your thoughts compared to this

Yeah it’s a good camera, and if you are just getting into photography for the first time, look at a 50mm f1.8. It’s really nice for beginners
A6700 is a true powerhouse beast
This lens is absolutely insane!! I was curious how is work in a crop system. Crazy!

Nice shots bro!! 🔥🔥🔥 Subscribed! 👍🏾 How do you create the sliding bar for the before and after color grade? Is it the “after effects” software?
Hey Curtis, are you shooting manual or shutter priority mode..? since you are on the go.😉😉
I am shooting in Manual but starting to play around a lot more this year with Aperture Prioty :)
YES! Thank you Curtis! This is exactly the combo I suggested a while back! So happy to see this video : )
What lens filter did you have on? I see the link, but wondering which one was on at the time. Great video by the way!
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed the video, for this video I wasn't using any filters.

That 'hand grabbing the couple' shot was awesome 😍
Ayyy thanks glad you like it!

Sigma does have a 50-100 f/1.8 for APS-C, but you’ll need the Sigma MC-11 adapter for that. Sadly not 50-150 like you mentioned. Tried it once some years ago and was impressed by that lens.

Which lenses do you use now vs before?
do you recommend 70-200 IS USM but that older version? I am on budget but I am looking for something with bigger zoom and also with a bit of quality 😅

Hey Curtis can you please do one with the 135mm f1.8?? Sony 135 1.8 GM is super expensive but there's a cheaper option Samyang 135 f1.8.. Thank you! ❤

Those ISO numbers at the end 💀

Is het verschil erg groot met de 70-200f4 gmii?
Hi,, Why don't you use the lens hood?
Hi, at 12:38 you mentioned keeping the iso low and having to keep the lens steady, im new to photography and wanted to know the correlation between iso and steadyness? Love the content as always
Ignore that, I just realised the slow shutter speed to keep the correct exposure, hence the steady hand 🤪
No Problem Robb, glad you enjoyed the video :)
In what area did you shoot all the photos? Can you please do a list?
I got a Sony a6000 after watching your last video and I love it!
Ayy that's ace! Glad you are enjoying the camera!
Amazing! Thanks!
Ho. Does 70-200mm F2.8 DG DNOS work with a6700?
Isn't the full frame 70-200 f2.8 essentially a 105-300 f4.2 on an aps-c body?
I've got the 200-600mm OSS and i must say that this type of lenses are amazing.
But truly expensive!
Ok I understand that 70-200 full frame lens on apsc is 105-300. What about aperture f2.8? Is this still the same if you have full frame lens on apsc body?
The crop factor is 1.5, so it's an f4.2 equivalent (2.8 * 1.5)
this lens os full frame?
