I just bought this, will be returning it tomorrow. Just not a good value for the money - most gaming laptops ship with high refresh rate monitors. The Rog Stryx don't have HDR, and gsync support is ONLY over usb-c, there's no regular displayport! No HDMI2.1, the hdmi connection doesn't support gsync at all!
Is there a longer third party micro hdmi to hdmi cord that works?
I haven't tried a third-party one yet, but I assume all micro hdmi to hdmi cord should work fine with the monitor. Botton line if you buy from amazon and it is not working you can still return it.
Hi, nice video I want to know when you only plug usbc to MacBook it will still be using battery to power this monitor work? If I want to using it for long periods I still need power on this monitor right?
Also I am hearing about the wake-up setting is pretty annoying since you have to weak it up by button after every sleep computer.
@@user-dp3oz7jl8kI don't have a macbook but the second point is on par with what I am experiencing. Hope they release some firmware updates in the future that can fix this issue.
