Stand should be lighter and more portable, and there needs to be a Vesa adapter to install on a Vesa arm or mount so you can drop the monitor on or off.

I was going to buy the Studiobook 16 but since it's not available, I just got a Legion 7. Then I was going to get the ProArt MD300 mouse (which has the Asus Dial), but since it's not available, I opted with the MX Master 3 mouse. Now I'm looking for a 2nd portable monitor, hence watching this vid.
Great video! How does it compare to the (older) MB169 monitors? I guess for creative work, you don´t need a battery nor speakers so it might be to much for just more screen real estate?

I don't understand who this was made for. What is the use case? Someone who does productivity/gaming on the go? What device would they use to do that? A laptop? That already has a screen. And you can get 15.6" ultrabooks thinner than this monitor. Why would you want to carry two devices when one can do it all? Or do they carry a desktop without a monitor? Unlikely. It seems like a solution in search of a problem.
as a white collar professional I often need an extra screen when on the go for spreadsheets, documents etc. portable monitors are the only solution otherwise I need to rapidly find a library or go to the office/my home setup to get anything done efficiently.
You would be surprised how many people have an itx desktop or console they take around with them, or how many people who have a laptop and need a second screen or a nicer screen than the one they have built in.

still using my ROG gl552 from 2015, still plays some older games pretty well. cant wait to upgrade to a 2022 laptop
I can imagine the Z13 but it's 17 inches with detachable keyboards. Definitely can be on the go with the power similar to a gaming laptop.
The stand is portable and the main reason why you'd buy this.. There's plenty of cheaper stand-less portable monitors with the same spec out there.
Forget the carrying case, I’m keeping the box! 😇
