It's better to take the upper air box off and spray the sensor through the tube that way to reduce touching or risk of dropping and damaging it as much as possible.
I was going to say this (i'm doing everything feaible while changing both valve cover gaskets. CRC sells a twin pack of mass air flow sensor cleaner and throttle body cleaner. The throttle body cleaner eats some plastics. Still a very useful video however.
My car is not shooting me any codes and my car keeps loosing power at idling in traffic and turns off sometimes i jumped to ahead and think its my fuel pump should i try cleaning this before i start buying a new pump
This happened to me recently, got my fuel pump replaced and after a week in a half of driving it started losing power when idling again but would catch itself this time vs the previous so I'm thinking I need to replace my MAF now. Also my air filter hasn't been changed in years and when I looked at it, its too clean 😬
My MAS went off on the check engine light. I’m gonna try this before I think about replacing it. Thanks big guy!
Glad this was helpful
Always on point

@@robertgardner4508 thank you
Ok thanks for this information
Glad this was helpful
Was your check engine light on too?
Yes
You should not be using throttle body and air intake cleaner. Only use mass airflow sensor cleaner
Thank You

Clean mass airflow sensor and throttle body
