I love your trick for carrying the white up the chain! Much cleaner than carrying it outside of the work, even when you’re going to crochet a border over it anyway.

I’m a Trekkie and crocheter and love your RUclips channel!

Thank you, Patty! I married a Trekkie, so I guess that makes me a Trekkie, as well! About 30 years ago, I sewed 4 Star Trek costumes/uniforms for Halloween (for my husband, myself and our 2 oldest children - before our 3rd son was born). Then about 10 years ago, I crocheted a Star Trek dress and wore it at the Annie's Craft Festival when I was teaching there in 2015. If you'd like to see that dress, check out this blog post that I wrote: thecrochetarchitect.com/annies-craft-festival-review/.
Welcome to my channel. I hope you learn a lot and have lots of fun crocheting!

Such a cute and versatile pattern. Id like to imagine it in all white and see what the texture and stitch definition looks like. You definitely have me paying more attention to measuring gauge now. In the past I didn't, and have regretted it. Thanks for another great tutorial!

After watching your videos on the thermal stitch do have the sides different colors as well as another channel does single/half double/ double crochets in the thermal stitch I just made a small project using the thermal stitch where one side was double crochet and the other side was the bobble stitch and the bobbles changed colors and I weaved colors into the thermal stitch’s inside and it turned out so pretty! I’m so glad I found your channel it gives me many idea with what I can do with crochet!

I'm glad you found my channel, too, Elliwesis! It sounds like you enjoy crochet challenges, like me! I would love to learn some of those other thermal stitch techniques (especially doing one side with bobbles that change colors!). That sounds very interesting!!! Happy crocheting to you!

For some reason I didn't get a notification of this video. So glad you posted again. Thought you might like to know there's a technique which doesn't require sewing any ends in on color changes. Anja who has Ophelia Talks on RUclips devised an edging this past year that buries the ends within it rherefor eliminating the need to sew in ends. I haven't tried it yet, but the feedback has been positive.

Thanks so much for the information on Ophelia's video! I'll have to check it out. I love learning new ways to improve my crochet!
I wish I had more time for making RUclips videos. My husband and I seem to always be busy with life (traveling, visiting our kids/grandkids, remodeling, etc)! We're going to try to make a few more videos (Lord willing) before our house is torn up for remodeling (if we don't run out of time)!
Happy crocheting to you now and always, Bonnie!
