Both beautiful metals, but the thing I like most about white gold is that you can get it re-dipped any time and it'll look just as new as the day you bought it.

Hi there, This may be confusing as pure platinum is harder than pure gold, however due to the fact that 18ct White gold is an alloy, containing 75% pure gold and 25% other metals to improve it's strength and appearance, it becomes harder than platinum which is used in jewellery at almost it's pure form, with 95% platinum and containing only 5% other metals.
