You deserve more subs man. I'm currently waiting on a back payment from work which will get me my resin printer. BUT.. I've already learned so much from watching your vids.. my kind of humour.. keep it up my dude
If you find you have trouble with the magnets coming out attached to the tool you use to press them in switch to a non magnetic item. I use an aluminum xacto handle of popsicle sticks made of wood to press and adjust the magnets as needed. I've been adding more and more magnets to my models for swapping different heads or hands with weapons lately and its been fantastic! Great video on this!
Man it’s a game changer. Get strong ones as big as can fit as thick as possible too then you can paint it together for overall composition and break it down to paint difficult to reach parts too
I did you tips to put in the magnets in a superman print I did and it worked perfect, but I did drop on magnet inside the model but I was able to get the peace back out (hehe).
Only question I have here is: how do you ensure the two holes are lined up properly when you add them in the slicer? Or isn't it a problem if they're a bit out of line?
i made a cylinder in zbrush and the sized it to the magnet in chhitubox pro or in lychee and use the boolean option so you wont have a hole all the way through my print. i also size it up to lets .3 mm so if i use 8mm magnets i'll size the hole 8.3 mm that way the magnet will fit and just glue
Good idea. I don’t mind opening the hole slightly. You can use lychee to do the same thing too during supporting. And you can adjust the depth if you want so that the hollow is just shy of the hole then it gives a tiny lip that can hold the magnet. I just live the big holes to help clean out the inside of the model! Thanks for watching and your idea for magnets holes too!
this work is all done post-curing? I've found my models to be brittle when cutting before curing. If this is post-curing, any suggestions on the model thickness when hollowing?
It’s 2mm thick that I use for most hollowing unless it give random pockets but that’s the average I use and yea all after curing can be done before but the top layer doesn’t get bonded with the inner layers and it will pull the magnet out easily if you don’t get a good bond
If I use magnets, I open the model in Meshmixer, make a hole in my area I need the magnet, then in whatever slicer I use I hollow the model then use the hole feature but make it a little less than the Meshmixer hole, gets me my magnet whole and my resin hole all in one. - I had a Bagel and Cream Cheese for Breakfast, OJ and a fruit smoothie!

Thanks dude. I’m still new to this so my video making skills need to get better first I think. Thanks for watching dude
Your channel is criminaly underated.
Thank you so much dude. I appreciate it.

Great rip. Yea magnets are the best!!!
I gotta try to add magnets to my models. Definitely gonna help with painting! Congrats to the to the artist of the month!

Haha. It happens. Just shake it around and it’ll stick onto the next magnet and just be there inside like a secret present forever haha
Awesome Video! I also noticed you put multiple holes to the hollowed model. I thought I was overdoing it...But I guess it works.
Nah dude as many holes as I can get away with helps to keep suction low and clean out the model inside!!
I'm totally going to be friking fighting with my parts now.. lol nice vid, I love the tutorials.
I’ll do a video asap for making holes in lychee to make it easier.
Thanks for the video! Would be handy for models with multiple heads!
Oh heck yea it is!
Thank you! This is what I needed to see!
Hope it helps ya bruh!!
Super helpful dude!!! Going to get me some magnets!!
Heck yea. Dang I should’ve linked magnets in the description. Let me know if you can’t find any and I’ll try find some links
Super helpful video as always. i did wonder how you prevent the magnet falling in haha.
Sometimes they go in. Just a spare magnet for the inside model gods

Fun video! Love Spirited Away!
Thanks dude
very helpful thx Sir
Thank you for watching bruh!
have you tried making fero-magnetic resin by adding iron dust?
"smashed on the floor" is that what "Groundeffected" means? 😆
Um. Maybe?
Beards are the way forward on youtube
It’s all about the face hair bruh
Awesome.
Great video informative and interesting.
This is the way..
Indeed!
Just subbed and watched this, question, how do you deal with seams and using magnets?
You have to make sure that the join is perfect this means sanding filing cutting whatever you have to do to make that join perfect.
I like it!
Thanks dude
Nice model...why i print some model not fit the hole..need more sand paper..
Maybe more sand paper ? Or the resin is shrinking?
magnets rule😃
Indeed they do
Why you so smart brah
Lol cos my mamma told me so
Yay!
nice
Thanks 🙏

@@Groundeffected thanx man!
Congrats to the winner! Decided not to give away the name lol 😂
Hahaha and you too dude. Fantastic mj for real!!

If you use lychee you can do the same too in the app. And that is a breakfast of kings for real yo!!
Super helpful video !! lol Is the model you used??
I assume you mean waist is the model. It’s a private commission sculpted by TDSABER
New viewers wondering what the instructions at the end are 😂
