This model looks so damn good! One thing I love about your videos is that you share the paints (by showing the actual bottle) you use. Thanks, Brent. Your videos rock, my dude!
Came here to be angry about this video claiming to paint models in 20 minutes. Figured out it was instead about painting models for 20 minutes. Great job!
of course zoomers are angry, when are you never complaining? (especially westerners) can you even hear yourselves? youtube was originally a website to upload free random stuff like cat videos, its FREE videos, no one owes you anything yet you have to leave angry comments because they don't meet YOUR specific opinions/ideology, jump into the video, watch, if its not your thing leave, whocares what it claims or not claims what the title states, "how DARE this doesn't mean my expectations" (as you insult a random stranger) typical westerner, its like instagram, if there's cute animals jumping a rope, you people have to say its animal abuse (face palm)
Interesting choices on the flesh tones! I never would have tried that combination on my own and I didn’t think it was looking quite right while you were building it up but the end results are amazing. That model looks absolutely fantastic and makes me want to take a crack at doing a Red Sonja.
Excellent, as usual, sir. You have a way with gore that keeps it from being over-bearing and yet expresses the violence of the character perfectly. Thank you for sharing!
Absolutely love these videos. Your techniques are simple yet have beautiful results. Finding Groundeffected and CA 3D studios has been a game changer in modelling. I can't wait to unlock ALL of the models that CA 3D studios has available to supporters. There are so many and they are all exquisite!!! Thank you all for the great content! On a side note, it is interesting to see so many paints and washes that I already use for armor modelling such as the ammo metal and tamiya wash. Quick tip on the wash, it is an enamel so if you do happen to get it somewhere you don't want, some enamel thinner will clean it up without ruining the acrylic paints underneath! Mud splatter techniques used in armor modelling would also work well for blood splatters. Add some paint to the brush, dab excess off, then use a toothpick to pull the bristles back and let them fling onto the model.
Absolutely love it! I stubbled across your channel after getting my first 3d printing and looking for inspiration on painting plague-infested skin in large figures. Love the words and the painting still looking for the plague-infested skin but your pinkly might just be where I need to start. Thanks
MIG 191, MIG 194, MIG 195, one of these three would be my guess, probably the 195 yet the three colors are almost identical when painted on. A good tip is when you buy paints, either write down their ID numbers in a notepad or simply categorize them with photos. I label my paints holder with their model numbers on each paint holder slot to avoid these situations. Great job, as always, love the work. Your the only YT painter that I can sit through the entire video without skipping, etc. Your my fav model painter and I love all your vids.
It is such a privilege to watch a master practice their craft. Your video showed up in my YT recommendations and I am so glad it did. Liked and subscribed. I am transitioning to the world of retirement and was thinking about what comes next. I have several statues and figures, but they are all bought. The idea of creating my own and then developing them through the painting process is very compelling. I will watch all your videos and learn all that I can. Thank you for sharing your passion and your creations.
damn, i really need to learn this way of painting, my painting of sculptures always ends up like a mess. You got yourself a new subscriber. Keep it coming buddy, i love it.
That model looks badass! What a masterpiece! I’m just getting into 3d printing and I never really painted models before it seems really overwhelming for me.
I use a old toothbrush for splatter, drawing my finger over it. I use it for mud on vehicles (sometimes mixed with baking powder for thickness) or thinned black for oil drippings. I also did it for the spots on bamboo trees. It can be used for the small spatters of blood too.
Love CA 3D, as soon as I joined, I suggested a Cyberpunk Ciri in the Discord, and now we're getting one!! Great work on Red Sonja, she's one of my favourite characters.
So Glad I stumbled on your channel. Model kit builder as a kid and wanted to get back into the hobby. WoW! STL Resin Printing is ... AMAZING!! Just got my first printer station Mars Ultra and I'm having Fun Fun Fun learning all of this. Hope to be as good as you one day a goal to strive for. Your talent is inspiring, Thanks for sharing.
Incredible, I had to pause the video in many places to take in all the detail, that chaotic blood spatter made all the difference. Another inspirational classic, thank you (and thank you).
I watch this channel while doing my commission painting and the fun and silly way you pronounce words and over emphasize them makes this one of my fave channels. Presentation is great and now instead of painting minis i may have to paint myself up a few collectables. Paintings not too bad either 😂😂 Awesome.
Bro I just wanted to paint a low poly cloud strife statue, came here for tips, and just got completely side tracked watching the whole thing. Incredible work!
This was fantastic it brought me back to getting my filament printer back up and running. Plus it reminded me to restart my ching ching saving for that beautiful resin printer the GK-Two. Awesome models you have printed and painted. Thanks for sharing your Dad. XD
I would be so afraid to completely muck it up painting the flesh tones so well and then splatting blood over it! You did a great job on that. Very nice indeed!
At 11:13, I am pretty sure you are using, Ammo's METALLIC Silver A.MIG-0195, pretty sure of it as their metallic steel MIG-191 looks not that silvery...Pretty sure that it's their silver. Hope that helps. They only have matt aluminum, which could also be it, but then again, it looks pretty silvery to me.
Um usually do like a 3 min cure then I prep them and then a 5 min. It’s gonna depend on your curing machine though cos they don’t all produce the same intensity of light
Haha aw dude I love it! This chair although it doesn’t look comfortable to sit in what matters is I tell you how to paint it!!! You are hilarious as well as brilliantly talented! Subscribed!! You ROCK! I just got me an Elegoo Saturn 2 8k I’m nervous about the cold snaps we’ve been getting here in the north east US I’ll have to make a little hot tub for my resins lucky bastards I don’t even have one!
Thanks for the tutorial, especially the use of colors for the skintone is very interesting. I also love the models from CA 3D studio. Can anyone tell me if they are presupported? Can't find anything about supports on their website.
I just bought a 6th scale April O' Neil figure from someone and I was wondering how long does it take to print something like that? This is a custom figure that will also be painted
Another get model! Do you cure your parts just a bit? Easier to remove supports and other little imperfections and give the parts a complete cure after?
I remove supports and usually any bits I can see with gloves then I cure for a short time and then clean up the parts and then cure them again after brushing with alcohol because I don’t want any little bits in my paint or on the surface. It’s a long job but it’s worth it
This model looks so damn good! One thing I love about your videos is that you share the paints (by showing the actual bottle) you use. Thanks, Brent. Your videos rock, my dude!

I was angry too!!😡 but yes, I love his painting technique!!

By far MY FAVORITE!!! Love this Character!!! Makes me really want a 3D printer now!!!
I don’t remember any of the movies but I read some comics when I was younger I mostly remember the covers!
Interesting choices on the flesh tones! I never would have tried that combination on my own and I didn’t think it was looking quite right while you were building it up but the end results are amazing. That model looks absolutely fantastic and makes me want to take a crack at doing a Red Sonja.
Souf Afrrikan?
Excellent, as usual, sir. You have a way with gore that keeps it from being over-bearing and yet expresses the violence of the character perfectly. Thank you for sharing!
Excellent, you knocked the eyes out of the park. Love this model and great job. thanks again
Glad you like it!

best Red Sonja I have seen so far, and the the Gold thingy is a shield.
Those flesh tones and the boots are cool. Nice looking model man.
I love Red Sonja and love how you painted that model... Subscribed!
Thanks for the sub!
I'm a bit of a clumsy painter, so blood effects come natural. Love the paintjob (as usual), the skin and leather look amazing!
damn, i really need to learn this way of painting, my painting of sculptures always ends up like a mess. You got yourself a new subscriber. Keep it coming buddy, i love it.
excellent Idea with the blood splatter love your work
I'm across the pond in Ireland, and the cold is killing my prints! might look into this!

Spectacular! Thank you for the very detailed explanations!
Excellent work as always. I have her scheduled to print this weekend. Th eyes and the blood splatter really add intensity to this model.
Oh sweet! I saw this STL just recently and thought it looked cool. I'll save this video for watching later. Thanks 😊
Dude I changed to using the Chaos Black spray and the difference between that primer and the other ones is so notable.
It’s so good. Just make sure to shake it well and it should treat you right.
All I can say is WOW!!!
Wow ! I think that's your best paint job thus far .
Turned out incredible thanks for sharing!

Awesome job. I really love how you do the flesh tones. I have to try your method and see what result I get.
I watch this channel while doing my commission painting and the fun and silly way you pronounce words and over emphasize them makes this one of my fave channels. Presentation is great and now instead of painting minis i may have to paint myself up a few collectables. Paintings not too bad either 😂😂 Awesome.
Had to subscribe after watching a couple videos. Great work dude!

I am pretty sure you right. I am also sure it had the word shiny in the name. But I can’t remember
Everything about this statue is so metal; I love it. Excellent work, son 🤘
How does someone learn to do this stuff. I’ve always been fascinated by painted models but I have no idea where to get started.
I need that Red Sonja in 1/4 scale!!! Do you do commissions?
Always enjoy these vids!.
amazing job, amazing model.
Thank you very much!
How long do you cure the models for the first time and then the second?
Um usually do like a 3 min cure then I prep them and then a 5 min. It’s gonna depend on your curing machine though cos they don’t all produce the same intensity of light
That Spider-Girl in your collection. I need it. Did you make the file to print it, or did you download it from somewhere?
god your prints look so good!! i have a hard time getting the support marks off and not loosing details from sanding
How do you get all your parts to fit so clean. I am always filling gaps between parts

Haha aw dude I love it! This chair although it doesn’t look comfortable to sit in what matters is I tell you how to paint it!!! You are hilarious as well as brilliantly talented! Subscribed!! You ROCK! I just got me an Elegoo Saturn 2 8k
I’m nervous about the cold snaps we’ve been getting here in the north east US
I’ll have to make a little hot tub for my resins lucky bastards I don’t even have one!
You dont use air varieties of vallejo? I noticed you used normale ones. Do you thin them all ? Thank you
holy crap that is an amazing work. +1 sub to you sir!
Thanks for the tutorial, especially the use of colors for the skintone is very interesting. I also love the models from CA 3D studio. Can anyone tell me if they are presupported? Can't find anything about supports on their website.
They are presupported in 1/12th or something. They aren’t supported in 1/6th
thank you very much! @@Groundeffected
Absolutely amazing, what a talent. I learn techniques and use them, thanks!
Very cool model and paint job!❤
Nice finish

I just bought a 6th scale April O' Neil figure from someone and I was wondering how long does it take to print something like that? This is a custom figure that will also be painted
