  • @HusniArsyah
    @HusniArsyah 7 дней назад

    Impressive. But one thing i seen (Not trying it yet), that all kinds of paint brush work will require `Practical skills`, by that means, you only can learn it by doing it.
    And yeah, first thing first, you need to buy all those things... Some of them require a good paint and equipment in order to meet the quality... 😅
    I don`t wanna try to be hypocrite here, some of `Skills margin` will require good tools and equipment. 😅
    (At entry level maybe you can buy and try cheap things, but in further development you need to try some thing better in quality).
    Good tutorial anyway ! 😅

    Skill and application is A*, but I'd have absolutely no idea this was 2B if you hadn't told me 😅
    No shame in using decals - especially for the eye you can't even see. I really admire how good you made the sheer fabric of the tights look, and the grey highlight on the boots really did add a lot, tied nicely in with the glaze of ink overtop.
    I'm a little sad you skipped over the sword hilt, the final look is incredibly clean.

    For the eye decals, do you ever put a glossy clear coat to protect the decal from falling off over time and to make the eye have a wet sort of look like real eyes? Would that even work?

    • @PropsNstuff
      @PropsNstuff  4 месяца назад +1

      Hey there. Yes, absolutely. After I’ve printed out a full sheet of various decal elements. (In this case, the eyes) I make sure to give the whole sheet 2 light coats of Matt varnish. This will prevent the ink from "bleeding out" when you apply it with a decal glue. (from the inkjet printer) When it’s all applied and everything is dry, I apply a gloss varnish😉 Sometimes I just brush it on the iris. And other times the whole eye. Hope that helps you😉 Good luck with your paint job! Cheers
