Miscellaneous items are a variety of items basically. Sometimes, it is hard to put them in a category. To find them, you can click on the chair icon on the left, then go to the decorations tab, then select “miscellaneous” on the bottom right. Or you can sort by room, choose the Kitchen tab, and select the bowl of fruit on the kitchen counter and that will open up the miscellaneous item menu!🤗Let me know if you find it!😄
When u search “tools” you’ll find things such as fire extinguishers, pencils, brooms, tape measures etc. You’ll also find the plunger which currently working for me. Also, if you search baby you’ll find a baby bottle

Ah no😖I tried the search for glass again and I only have the magnifying glass that stands up.🤔When I switch back to live mode, they stay standing. I tried searching “magnify” and I found only one magnifying glass. It has the kids room stuff logo on it. Try searching the word “Magnify” to see if it stands up this time. Also, make sure your game is updated! That may help! 🤗
I’m not sure if this has already been commented, but when you’re resizing the square where the plunger is, move it up and the plunger will appear out of the floor 😊❤️

We got a new cheat in update 1.18 that gave us access to NEW cars a TONS of other objects!!🤗 I released a video tutorial today that shows you how to use the cheat if you want to watch! So I just found out about this cheat like a week ago. I came on here hoping to find the reason why I'm not getting everything everyone else is getting. I didn't find out why. I can't get any bottles, plates, the plunger, etc. And I see that most of them show no packs or anything so I think its the base game. I don't know if u could help me. I have the ps4. And yes I do have the unknown box marked and the cheat is in. I do have like the cards, snow globes, and bubbles tho. I have most of the packs except for 2
Hey! I’m so sorry I missed your comment!😓I was wondering if you are still having issues finding stuff? I know there was an issue reported where console users couldn’t find the live edit objects from island living (I don’t have that pack though). Another comment or mentioned that if you type the word “tools” onto the search bar, you can find the plunger and an assortment of other tools! The plunger hasn’t worked for me as of late but I plan to test this out again later on. The updates may be slightly ruining this feature for us but I can’t necessarily prove that..😓
Hi! I just watched this video and I have an idea for the issue with food objects going bad...NOTE I HAVENT TRIED IT...but I imagine it will work. Once you've built your home save the lot, then when those items good bad sale the home, bulldozer the lot and replace with the saved lot from before they went bad. You will have to keep doing that process continuously though.

Yes unfortunately a few updates ago they removed the “Debug” button for us😰I have to update this video!! Now try this, type in the cheat “Bb.Showhiddenobjects” and search for words using the magnifying glass on the left hand side. Search for words like: Tool, Unknown, Remote, Bottle, Glass, etc. it should work that! I’m so sorry for the late reply, just now seeing this! Let me know if it works!!😄🎊
There's a commonly used item that is a trailer this is used in mobile homes and I was trying to make one to. But I've gone through every letter on the keyboard thing and it's not there
Try the cheat “ bb.showliveeditobjects “ the trailer is near the middle to bottom row! If you still don’t see it after that, it is worth nothing that the trailer (the only one I have anyways) comes with the Get Famous Pack. I hope this helps you!🤗
If I have a couple of saved game files and only use the cheat on One. Does every saved game files block the chance of trophy and achivements or it is just the One game I do the cheat in?
No, you’re doing it right!🤗 Since you have only ONE save where you DO use cheats, that is the ONLY save that won’t get any trophies. All of your other saves will be able to get trophies, since you didn’t use cheats!😄
Do you think things will expire if no one is living in the house? I’m just in build mode building on empty lots with no intentions on moving anyone in so I don’t have to keep adding money in
Hmmm, I think it depends on what the item is. 🤔If it is food or empty dishes, it will DEFINITELY expire in the game(if someone moves in). Buuut if it is something else, like the remote control or the bottle, it won’t expire (whether someone moves in or not!)I understand building in build mode with no family on the lot is much easier because you have unlimited money!🤗I like doing that too! But, make sure you test the house out if you do want to use it eventually! Or one day when we have the gallery, you’ll want to test your builds first before others download it. But I think you should be fine the way it is if you never move anyone in!😄🤗

To raise objects, hold down L2 and R2 at the same time and tap up on the D-Pad to raise objects up! To bring them back down, hold down the same buttons, but tap down on the D-Pad. I also have a video on my channel where I go into detail about this! Check it out if you want!🤗
I know this is a 2 year old video. But so far your advice has been the only thing to help me tonight. However, I still can not find the old mill water wheel. I really hope you get the chance to see this and help me! I just spent a lot of time making an orchard and had intended to add a water wheel to my green house. Please🥺Thank you!🤗 . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ✣ So, I scoured my game for any debug/unknown/hidden objects/live edit objects that could resemble a water wheel and found nothing!😭 ✣ Next, I searched RUclips for any mentions of this wheel. I stumbled upon a video titled, “The Old Mill | The Sims 4 Speed Build” by a Devin Bumpkin. At 2:23 in this video, I saw him grab the animated waterwheel (the one I think you’re talking about) and I discovered that it is actually a CC item created 5 years ago by someone named Veranka. So we can’t have that one unfortunately. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ✣ After that, I went to Twitter to see if anyone had “created” this wheel using the very popular T.O.O.L. Mod. If you don’t know, that mod makes it so that any item in game can be rotated vertically, horizontally, or any which way! Unfortunately we can’t have mods in Sims 4 on console, buuut we can download and edit items (move the pieces around) made using the T.O.O.L Mod, from the gallery (if creators so choose to upload them that is…)! SatiSim on Twitter has the best version of the waterwheel I’ve ever seen, but she hasn’t put it on the gallery. :( So I found different ones! ___________________ ✩ SOLUTIONS!! ✩ ___________________ A.) I went to the gallery and switched the search drop down menu to “hashtag” Then I searched for the word “wheel”. Do not put a hashtag or worry about capitalization or anything. Just type in the word by itself. All results mentioning #wheel will load. 1.) If you don’t have cottage living, I recommend downloading one of these 3 (which were made by using that mod):“Water Wheel Base Game” by GIULIABUILDS (Best one in my opinion) 2.) “Wagon Wheel Decor” by SATISIM. I’m my opinion, this wheel is the most perfectly aligned one and the easiest to edit! It says you’ll need the Get Together pack to download it, but I’m pretty sure the wheel part is not exclusive to Get Together, so try downloading it anyways! 3.) Lastly, you might like “Water Wheel BaseGame NoCC” by Mighty_Lisa B.) If you have Cottage Living, follow the steps in section A.) again 1.) Locate “wood wheel” by MikiXabo. Or 2.) “Debug Water Wheel CL” by MRSBOOTSY If you have Cottage Living, these are the 2 best ones in my opinion. Like the mouse icon? You have to press down on the touchpad in the center of the controller to bring up the cursor and the put it back! I think it also tells you how to do this when you press L3!🤔

Make sure you are in an item menu first (doesn’t matter which, just as long as there is an item list present at the bottom of the screen) and press R2 to bring up filtered search. You can filter item color, pack, etc! I show you how to do this @4:51 in this video. Hope that helps!😊
I bought them from the PlayStation store. When you go to the main menu, you see all the packs on the left hand side and when you click one of them, it leads to the PlayStation store to buy it.

Does anyone know what I can search to get trees, plants, or bushes? I was trying to build a starter home and I didn't have enough money to download a room of plants for the gallery. Can anyone help?

The recent update on consoles has changed how debug items show up. They are no longer named “𝘿𝙚𝙗𝙪𝙜”. Now they are called “𝙐𝙣𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣” and here is how to get it:
1.) Press R1, R2, L1, and L2 at the same time.
2.) Type in the cheat “ bb.showhiddenobjects”
3.) Open up the item menu on the left side (it can be anything: Kitchen items, Bathroom items, whatever you want.)
4.) Once you are in the item menu, hit R2 to bring up the filter menu.
5.) Go to: 𝘾𝙤𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙣𝙩 and select “𝙐𝙣𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬𝙣 “
**The box should have a green check mark in it, just like the picture below. (See photo of what I’m talking about in my Community Tab)
**Note: If you want the debug items specifically, you can open the miscellaneous item menu to find more of them!🤗

So I just found out about this cheat like a week ago. I came on here hoping to find the reason why I'm not getting everything everyone else is getting. I didn't find out why. I can't get any bottles, plates, the plunger, etc. And I see that most of them show no packs or anything so I think its the base game. I don't know if u could help me. I have the ps4. And yes I do have the unknown box marked and the cheat is in. I do have like the cards, snow globes, and bubbles tho. I have most of the packs except for 2
Hey! I’m so sorry I missed your comment!😓I was wondering if you are still having issues finding stuff? I know there was an issue reported where console users couldn’t find the live edit objects from island living (I don’t have that pack though). Another comment or mentioned that if you type the word “tools” onto the search bar, you can find the plunger and an assortment of other tools! The plunger hasn’t worked for me as of late but I plan to test this out again later on. The updates may be slightly ruining this feature for us but I can’t necessarily prove that..😓
Hi! I just watched this video and I have an idea for the issue with food objects going bad...NOTE I HAVENT TRIED IT...but I imagine it will work. Once you've built your home save the lot, then when those items good bad sale the home, bulldozer the lot and replace with the saved lot from before they went bad. You will have to keep doing that process continuously though.

Yes unfortunately a few updates ago they removed the “Debug” button for us😰I have to update this video!! Now try this, type in the cheat “Bb.Showhiddenobjects” and search for words using the magnifying glass on the left hand side. Search for words like: Tool, Unknown, Remote, Bottle, Glass, etc. it should work that! I’m so sorry for the late reply, just now seeing this! Let me know if it works!!😄🎊

There's a commonly used item that is a trailer this is used in mobile homes and I was trying to make one to. But I've gone through every letter on the keyboard thing and it's not there
Try the cheat “ bb.showliveeditobjects “ the trailer is near the middle to bottom row! If you still don’t see it after that, it is worth nothing that the trailer (the only one I have anyways) comes with the Get Famous Pack. I hope this helps you!🤗
If I have a couple of saved game files and only use the cheat on One. Does every saved game files block the chance of trophy and achivements or it is just the One game I do the cheat in?
No, you’re doing it right!🤗 Since you have only ONE save where you DO use cheats, that is the ONLY save that won’t get any trophies. All of your other saves will be able to get trophies, since you didn’t use cheats!😄
Do you think things will expire if no one is living in the house? I’m just in build mode building on empty lots with no intentions on moving anyone in so I don’t have to keep adding money in
Hmmm, I think it depends on what the item is. 🤔If it is food or empty dishes, it will DEFINITELY expire in the game(if someone moves in). Buuut if it is something else, like the remote control or the bottle, it won’t expire (whether someone moves in or not!)I understand building in build mode with no family on the lot is much easier because you have unlimited money!🤗I like doing that too! But, make sure you test the house out if you do want to use it eventually! Or one day when we have the gallery, you’ll want to test your builds first before others download it. But I think you should be fine the way it is if you never move anyone in!😄🤗

To raise objects, hold down L2 and R2 at the same time and tap up on the D-Pad to raise objects up! To bring them back down, hold down the same buttons, but tap down on the D-Pad. I also have a video on my channel where I go into detail about this! Check it out if you want!🤗
I know this is a 2 year old video. But so far your advice has been the only thing to help me tonight. However, I still can not find the old mill water wheel. I really hope you get the chance to see this and help me! I just spent a lot of time making an orchard and had intended to add a water wheel to my green house. ✣ So, I scoured my game for any debug/unknown/hidden objects/live edit objects that could resemble a water wheel and found nothing!😭
✣ Next, I searched RUclips for any mentions of this wheel. I stumbled upon a video titled, “The Old Mill | The Sims 4 Speed Build” by a Devin Bumpkin. At 2:23 in this video, I saw him grab the animated waterwheel (the one I think you’re talking about) and I discovered that it is actually a CC item created 5 years ago by someone named Veranka. So we can’t have that one unfortunately.

✣ After that, I went to Twitter to see if anyone had “created” this wheel using the very popular T.O.O.L. Mod. If you don’t know, that mod makes it so that any item in game can be rotated vertically, horizontally, or any which way! Unfortunately we can’t have mods in Sims 4 on console, buuut we can download and edit items (move the pieces around) made using the T.O.O.L Mod, from the gallery (if creators so choose to upload them that is…)! SatiSim on Twitter has the best version of the waterwheel I’ve ever seen, but she hasn’t put it on the gallery. :(
So I found different ones!

A.) I went to the gallery and switched the search drop down menu to “hashtag”
Then I searched for the word “wheel”.
Do not put a hashtag or worry about capitalization or anything. Just type in the word by itself. All results mentioning #wheel will load.
1.) If you don’t have cottage living, I recommend downloading one of these 3 (which were made by using that mod):“Water Wheel Base Game” by GIULIABUILDS (Best one in my opinion)
2.) “Wagon Wheel Decor” by SATISIM. I’m my opinion, this wheel is the most perfectly aligned one and the easiest to edit! It says you’ll need the Get Together pack to download it, but I’m pretty sure the wheel part is not exclusive to Get Together, so try downloading it anyways!
3.) Lastly, you might like “Water Wheel BaseGame NoCC” by Mighty_Lisa
B.)
If you have Cottage Living, follow the steps in section A.) again
1.) Locate “wood wheel” by MikiXabo.
Or
2.) “Debug Water Wheel CL” by MRSBOOTSY
If you have Cottage Living, these are the 2 best ones in my opinion.

It lets you use all of the items that are locked to certain career goals!🤗 I hope that helps!

How can I use a cursor on ps4?
Like the mouse icon? You have to press down on the touchpad in the center of the controller to bring up the cursor and the put it back! I think it also tells you how to do this when you press L3!🤔

How I get to the filter on ps4
Make sure you are in an item menu first (doesn’t matter which, just as long as there is an item list present at the bottom of the screen) and press R2 to bring up filtered search. You can filter item color, pack, etc! I show you how to do this @4:51 in this video. Hope that helps!😊

Yes I know! Haha🤗 I actually made a video talking about this for the new cars we got in update 1.18. This method still works for finding unknown items actually, but you can find even MORE unknown items with the showliveeditobjects cheat!😄
