QUICK 20 MINUTE BOX BRAID TAKE DOWN + DETANGLING! 🤯

I don't know about y'all but I am NOT spending hours and hours taking out box braids. Especially because I know I like my braids long and small. So this is the way Ive been taking my braids out for years. I've done braids even smaller than this and it's taken just about the same time.
This method is safe for your hair if you braid the way that I do. I've already dropped a box braid tutorial as well as the DIY Goddess braid tutorial where I showed how I installed these braids. I'll link both below!
Don't remove your braids this way if you're scared to or don't understand exactly what I'm doing! I totally get it, the idea of removing box braids this way can be a little intimidating so don't try it if you think you're not ready. I only remove my hair this way under certain circumstances which I mention in the video.

I forgot all about this method back when i was younger this how i use to take down my braids , being so lazy & just wanted to hurry up & get done thats when i had 000000000 patience’s i mean none at all .. im still wondering how I survived alot of shit with no patience

Yep I’m never in the mood to take braids down so this is my quick way lol I have knotless braids in now tho and I’m dreading taking them down because there’s no quick way for them lol

In the video, I say it depends on how you install the braids. Not all box braids can be or should be taken out this way. Sometimes you gotta take them out the old fashion way but maybe I’ll drop a new video showing tips on how to speed up an old fashioned box braid take down 🤔

Definitely! My only updated recommendation would be to make sure you spray your hair with water pretty well. And maybe a leave in. Just to cut down on breakage
