Just started watching your channel yesterday from the ac compressor and got caught up to the latest video I would advise for you to get a automotive smoke machine leak tester I saw one in Amazon for 75 . And use it the same way you did with vacuum and see where it's leaking with the smoke . no need to use soapy water . Now if the nuts on the header was loose. I would check the head and header matting surface making sure they are square and flat . Or it can be a weld that was not done correctly. Do you have the gasket/ cover where the shifter gose or can u see the ground I saw your shift boot was loose on a vid . Or maybe it's the gasket for the rear hatch / window and the smoke is coming in form by the back of the car .idk to many things to list but great video. Won't be surprised if the channel reaches 50,000 soon
@mairocaballero7684 All those things were very possible! I was driving myself nuts trying to figure it out because it could have been ANY combination of these things😂 Thankfully i managed to get it fixed! I was taking some time off and doing other things aswell but ill post an update soon!👍
Great video series 👍🏽. I'm wondering if your exhaust header is warped where it mates to the head. Sometimes, a multi layered steel (MLS) gasket provides enough material to compensate for the warping if it's minimal. An MLS gasket does a better job at sealing than oem gaskets. Good luck. I can't wait to see what the shop figures out. 🏎
@Mr.IX9 Thanks! I was thinking the same thing because nothing else explains this. Either that or maybe i tapped the head with the new stud at a wrong angle and the headers dont sit flush with the block because of that lol either way a shop can tell me which….hopefully😅
I been working on Hondas since I was 14 bud I will bet anything that the smoke u saw was just oil burning off that got on your headers so its really nothing to worry about but I could b wrong but I'm willing to bet that's what it is
