Rotate the crank pulley the same way the engine rotates. If you rotate it CW, adjustment will be off and it will result in loud valve chatter and possible bent valves.

Does it matter which stroke you start this process on? I know it's TDC but the engine hits TDC once for each stroke and the valves will be in different states of open and closed for each stroke.
TDC....start adjustment on cylinder #1. Once the 4 valves are adjusted correctly, rotate the crank pulley CCW 1/4 turn. "UP" will end up on the left, level with cylinder head (aka 9 o' clock).
You will then be adjusting cylinder #3 and so on...
UP marking location.....
12 o'clock = TDC / #1
9 o'clock = #3
6 o'clock -=#4
3 o'clock = #2
Remember......ALWAYS ROTATE THE CRANK PULLEY CCW OR ADJUSTMENTS WILL BE INCORRECT !!!!!
Wrong you have to turn 180 which is half turn. It will 2 whole turns all together.
DAmm I git the intake and exhaust mixed up I did 7mm on exhaust and 9 on intake ?
