First off let me say imo Chino Moreno can do no wrong. I dig all his bands. With that said, I also believe the only shows his bands should be playing are small-ish dark intimate settings. I can listen to all his bands whenever but it's the times when driving at night with all the windows down and the sun roof open that his bands hit. Just my opinion
I waited SO LONG to see Deftones live and saw them at Trees in Dallas. I forgot to breathe my arms started to tingle cause not enough oxygen was in my blood. All I wanted to heart was can't even breathe.
Its because it was at the KROQ party house. Not an actual show. You only got in by winning tickets to Coachella on KROQ. Those people probably have no idea who Crosses is (are?). The mix definitely sucks. The bass isnt coming through at all.
Does anyone know if the drummer is playing with sample triggers (kick drum trigger and/or mic triggered) or are the electronic beat samples on a backing track? Because I don't hear any acoustic drums, but that could be just because of the mix.
I sweat to the gods that my youngest brother was born and I said...erm, you gotta call him Moreno! And my mom would if the portugal would allow it 😢... (She didn't know who Chino was...but the kid had Chino vibes)... Now he's 17, our mom knows who Chino is (me and the two youngest loooove every project Chino's in) and my brother not only still looks like Chino, his voice grew to be like Chino's, his style evolved to be very Chino like and his maneirisms as well 😂 and I swear I didn't influence the guys to listen to what I do listen to!
Super Sad see one of the biggest RockStar from the 90' and early 2K ended like this, Guafff super sad for me, now I realized I am getting older Guafff. NuMetal is dead, was my generation and now is so over.
Looking at these comments. Sad. If it were me seeing this band I would be just as reactive because I was taking it all in I didn't know how to react but to just zone in and appreciate it. So many comments about unappreciation. They were appreciating it to its fullest.
This show is a great example of how the production crew can make or break a performance. Wtf was going on with the audio mix. You had chino, the synth, and drum pads and that's it. Love this band but the crew had an awful day and it reflected on them :(

This is just odd. However the recording is done/mixed here sucked the balls right out of the music. Nothing like either the produced or regular live sound of Crosses. I wonder how it sounded in person.
One thing for sure when I saw them in Philly with Nostalgia they sounded AMAZING almost better then anytime I saw Chino with the deftones .. The sound on this sucks ..
I love the Deftones, Team Sleep, Palms and Crosses. I love Chino Moreno, but he sounds AWFUL! Chino Live = Me singing in the shower......It's okay I still love you Chino!

Saw Crosses in San Francisco and they ROCKED IT!! Everyone was going nuts.. these folks weren't feeling.. fuck em!

They're not in their element in this performance but it's excellent because it exposes their skeleton. You can witness the structure of the band.
