This beat is crazy, last years music was out of this world. Blessed you guys are giving us more, this shit is fire. Chino is my favorite artist of all time, its crazy they are 50 and putting out music that's so innovative and unique. I worked with a kid in Idaho who lived with Ming Cheng Chi brother after playing the kid change he told me this wild story about how he knew the deftones, then another friend I met in Idaho sat right next to Chino in Huntington Beach last year... and I only found out about these things because I told these people how much I loved deftones and crosses, and showing them my diamonds eye tattoos. I lived in Portland for a while hoping I had the chance to run into Chino.

But Shaun and Chino together have created one helluva soundscape with this - one I am happily willing to lose myself in. Love the storytelling in this - it's beautiful and heavy and everything I could want. Instant favorite!
I'm 41 and feel like if I was ever lucky enough to meet Chino I'd cry. Like just straight up sob. Lol. Heard Deftones for the first time as a young teenager in the 90s and became a ride or die fan of Chino/Deftones and it's been amazimg listening to and falling in love with Crosses. Totally different vibe from Deftones, but both are beautiful. Thank you Chino and Shaun for making noises that my ears really really love ❤

Crosses has the ability to make every song familiar on the first listen, while being entirely new. I love that.
These two will never know just how much their music means to me. I've been a Deftones fan for a long time, at least 2004/2005, and EVERY project Chino works on is MAGICK. From "Adrenaline" to "Diamond Eyes", then all the way around to his lesser talked about project "Palms" (check out their song Patagonia) and currently with ††† such bewitching melody, raw anger wrapped in a soft embrace.

Saw these dudes like 3 weeks ago with my older brother, my best friend, and my 15 year old son, which was his first show, by the way. And they absolutely killed it!! Chinos energy was electrifying, and Shaun's performance was mesmerizing. It's easily one of the best shows I've ever been to. And the best part was I got to share it with my son. I’m not saying Crosses is better than Deftones or Team Sleep. It’s something else. We can’t compare those bands just because Chino is in them. What I’m saying is that Crosses is one of the best things that ever happened to modern music. This project is just beyond everything else right now. Damn they’re that good.
I, too, cannot say whether or not Crosses is better or worse than Deftones, Team Sleep, or Palms, but this hits me in a part of my soul that has been dormant since I was a teenager back in the late 90s/early 2000s.
I love this and love practically everything Chino has ever created, each band project he has is unique and full of fun surprises to unopen and explore!
